when is the best time to FIM, or top

i recently acquired some mango haze beans and i understand FIMing or topping will help me manage size.
i have the jist of these techniques but any feedback or direction with this would be much appreciated.

Well... Here are pics of some Mango... Can you me at 6'2" standing up in the jungle? I doubt you'll get them this big as they are in 30 gallon pots, but they can GROW!

Flip early and expect some stretch.

Top just above the fourth node shortly after it's shown itself and flip a week later.

when is the best time to start the FIM technique

I do two tops, one at 1 ft tall and 1 a week before i throw it in bud. I usually end up with about 4-5 ft plants

As soon as you feel comfortable. Usually once the plant has 4 leaf sets. Thats the earliest i do it. I top first then fim later along with some bending and tying down as well as a little twisting of the main stalk to encourage strong growth. Good luck man!
