Hi everyone. First grow and always looking for a little help. Week 5 and things are looking good was wondering if I should start to flush. The hair just started turning a day or two ago. The trichomes are still clear.
Any thoughts?

What are you feeding them that you need to flush out? I personally don't see a need for flushing, but everyone has their way of doing things. I wouldn't recommend flushing more than a week and half if that long. A year or two ago, everyone started saying you needed a 3 day flush. Now I hear you need 2 weeks but only if the moon is waning. Unless you have a ton of excess nutes and stuff in your medium, I think flushing is a unnecessary step. The idea of it sounds great and pure, but it doesn't have a lot of validity, at least scientifically.

If you’re looking to flush with the thought that you are approaching harvest, you’ve still got time, especially if all trichomes are still clear.

To flush or not seems to be personal preference from what I’ve read. I don’t think it could possibly hurt anything as if you are harvesting, the plant likely has stopped growing and is last days anyway and it doesn’t need many nutrients anyway. At least, from my experience with autos.

I'm gonna fall back on what's worked for me, if using a peat mix like promix or FF with hydro nutrients I'd say 1.5-2 weeks of pure water at the end. If its coco, 7-10 days, if rockwool 3-5 days.

I always flush after all hair turn red, and keep cold couple days, then cut

I normally flush after I got to the toilet ..... well someone had to say it I’m about 2 week flusher but I flush with worm casting tea varooooooooom kills it every time .OD .
