when to flush

if yours is an 8 week strain do u flush in week 8 or prior to

I have flushed for as many days as I would've ran the strain.

I.E. 8 weeks = 8 day flush
12 week = 12 day flush

That rule has not let me down in the past. Get all the nute flavor out making your buds taste el natural.

It depends....

There are many variables in gardening. Depending on strain, nutes, feeding schedule, enviormental factors, etc. If you are not using a good flushing agent like Final Finish (empty chelates) a min. of 12 days to 2 weeks is necc. to fully flush yor plants. You can drop that down to 1 week with a flushing agent.
People freak out their girls are going to starve if they dont feed them. Even after you flush your medium, your plants have stored up a stockpile of nutes in their system they must blow through as well.

On an 8 week strain I would flush about 10 days or so prior to harvest. Some advocate up to 2 weeks.
