Just moved my plants from hydro to soil. Do I water them with nutes everytime or do I use plane water some days?

It depends on the soil how much your going to need to feed. I use FFOF and usually give just ph adjusted water for at least 3 weeks then do a feeding, water with epsom salts, feeding cycle. if they look hungry Ill up the feed but stay on that cycle.

What’s your timing like on this also what is FFOF. This is my first time so I don’t know much

Fox Farm’s Ocean Forrest dirt. It has some basic organic nutrients so can keep a young plant going for awhile. But it is dirt, so not a nutrient replacement.

If you’re using a nonorganic salt based fertilizer (which I presume you did when in hydro) you can use your EC/PPM meter to monitor your pot leachate and see if you’re over fertilizing and just need plain water.

I just alternate watering's, I don't really have a set schedule, I've settled on a preference for 7 gallon cloth pots so I water to a 10% runoff probably on average 4 days between waterings so an average of 8 days between feedings. I had a heavy hand when I was starting out so now go real conservative and the 6-8 day interval lets me know how they reacted after a feeding to try an keep surprises to a minimum.
