Are you using General Hydroponics Flora Series?

Here is a study on flushing, test showed that best flavor and smoothest hit was from plants with 0 days of flushing.

This is the chart I use when using Flora, it shows a flush the last week but I don't do that. My plants are green at harvest.

do you cut off feeding nutrients 2weeks prior to harvest or feed all the way up until harvest then flush it ?

I've said it before and I'll say it again, "Flushing is for toilets and Queens." 🤣

"Flushing" is generally done in large commercial grows to save on fert costs, and new/newer growers who don't know any better. If you're trying to save money in every possible way, flush away. If not, doesn't matter either way. Other than that, there is no need for it. It's basically a myth, and some people may argue with me about this until they're blue in the face, but fact is, multiple studies have concluded there is no difference between flushed and not flushed. Personally, I've smoked many a plant that was fed a huge dose of nutrients only to have a freak snow storm kill it that night, and you wouldn't be able to tell any difference from a plant that has been "flushed"

I mean, not knocking anyone who does flush and does believe in it. Diff'rent strokes for diff'rent folks, I reckon. Just seems like one more unnecessary thing to worry about, imho.

If you're growing in coco the way you should and allow 10-20% runoff at every watering then one of the things I love about coco is that you shouldn't have an excess of salts to flush and you can just run plain pH'd water the last 4-5 days with the same 20% runoff maybe a little more and you're good. I will never go back to peat moss or really any forest products for a medium when coco is so suited to growing cannabis. You can't overwater it, you have to try hard to burn it with too many nutes and the pH doesn't drift all over the place. I've grown in many different mediums including hydroponics, aeroponics, soilless and soil and i always preferred soilless indoors because it was easy to maintain and the bud tasted better than hydro but coco gives you the taste and smell of soil/soilless with the superior growth that you get with hydroponics. Keep gowing with the coco you won't be disappointed

Interesting hmmm
That is the only experiment to ever be made. Nevertheless if their conclusion is that there is no point in flushing, they should explain where the harsh taste from buds comes from. If you do want to flush and you grow in hydroponic medium like coco, 1 week of no nutrients is plenty enough.
