Where can i buy mollasses in the uk and is it called mollasses or sumthing else i tried to buy some today from iceland and they said they have never heard of it, also what is it used for so i can look in that section or the store

It's also known as Black Treacle if you look for the Lyle's stuff, or Billington's Mollasses (powdered).

I buy Meridian Organic Blackstrap Molasses from Tesco.
It is used as a natural sweetener for baking or to put in your coffee.
In growing it is used to help feed the beneficial bacteria in soil. It also gives a little carbohydrate boost to plants (similar to AN's Carbo Load).
