Been getting away with using viton thus far, but I want to get some real gaskets and was curious what others are using.

I hear that tuf steel gaskets are what is really needed, but continually hear about leaks from these gaskets. PTFE is what I think I want to go with as I'm typically about -60* and they're way more affordable than the tuf steel.

Any suggestions on which gaskets work well and at what torque spec?

Thanks!

Tri clamp gaskets for closed loop systems, pretty sure most systems use them, seen a few screw on spools but a majority seem to use the tri clamps. Basically the gaskets between the pieces, the gaskets I have aren't designed to handle solvent as cold as I'm running so trying to get an idea of what others who run cold temps are using instead of the viton gaskets that I'm using.

-60F or C?

We currently use the two bolt high pressure clamps, torqued to 20 ft pounds and Teflon gaskets, which we have to frequently replace because of distortion from cold flow.
