Which lght formation would you use for this setup?

Because this is my first attempt at a tree grow Im starting off with only 2 plants.
I was wondering which light formation would be best. Ill be using all 600W HPS bare bulb & the trees will be in 114 litre ("30 gallon" in US conversion) DWC systems. Aiming for at least 1GPW.
So far Ive got down to this:


X = PLANT
O = 600W BULB

2 TREE SETUP

If i was running two plants, i would have, one light over the top of each plant with atleast 80cm2 reflectors, as to get a nice canopy. And the 3rd light, i would move each day, make it a vertical with no reflector, and each day i'd move it from far left, to middle, to far right. This is assuming you are indefinately going with only 3 lights.

Anyone else agree/disagree?

If you can afford 4 lights, and want to go all vertical, obviously do a triangle around the 2 trees with 600ws with one central 1000w light would be pro :P.
