Which organic line to use with cash cropping?

Alright, just got back from the hydro shop and I was looking at Technaflora's Pura Vida Grow & Bloom. Alittle pricey, but I have heard great stuff about them. They claim that it can complete with synthetic fert yeilds. But I noticed that they both didn't have any Calcium in it, which worries me. I know that they also sells MagIcal, but I don't think that is all-organic. What do you folks think? Also, if I just use those, I also want some kind of root excel &/or vitemins. How about the Pure Vida G&B, with either Thrive Alive or Liquid Karma? And then maybe Bontincares Sweet for pre-harvest? I'm going to be making up my mind in a couple days, so let me know what everyone thinks! Thanks a bunch for the help already!

Every person I know that has ran the Biocanna line says more or less the same thing...... Good quality, with terrible yields and slower ripening. Personally, I find the Biocanna line to be a rip off, considering much better results for yield & quality can be had with simple aerated compost teas(for a fraction of the price).

I've heard that about biocanna, so I'm not gonna use them, seems like a rip off.

I've been doing compost teas for years now, with great results, but with the amount that I would have to brew, and since I currently live in an apt, making a huge batch of bubbling compost tea just doesn't seem feasible at the current moment though.

I think you should use mineral based nutrients for cash cropping and do a few organic plants using Earth Juice or something in organic soil for your head stash. I personally can't get the yield, flavor, or trichs in soil that I can in hydro.

Hrmmm.. yeild, I can see, but I've always found that soil gave the best flavor to plants.

I agree with neonblack. I never get the taste in hydro as I did in soil. If I'm missing something though, I'm all ears kakalak.

Pura Vida gives me the same yield in a simple organic form than H&G, or any of the other chem ferts. Yes, there is no calcium so you need to add something like Magical or Cal-Mag, but that is really it. I am going to start adding Hygrozyme to see what it does in my regimen. Earth Juice is ok, but the quality is all over the place and the bloom really crashes the PH. Give it a shot-you will like it.

A.N-Iguana juice bloom + mother earth grow.... use for flowering, add molassas, humic and fulvic acids.....I have pulled some really big organic yeilds out of my room

Anyone try Maxsea Grow & Bloom? Pretty cheap and good NPK ratios on it. Was thinking of using this. Also looked at Age Old Organics. Anyone use these two products with good results?

Age Old Organics can throw your ph way off but I did have a nice yeild from it but Iv'e tried every organic nute and I gotta say I always go back to earth juice ..the final taste is top notch plus there's alot of frost in the end

I must preface this statement by saying I am not a cash cropper, I only do personal grows. With that said; I have used the Roots Organic line with great success. I do use Botanicare's CalMag and Sweet and omit the RO Trinity. I also use Canna Rhizotonic, Hygrozyme, and Superthrive, and my results have been fantastic. I get great flavor, great trichome coverage, and yields that match my expectations.

I had planned on doing my next run with the new General Organics line. I really do like the work that was done to create the line, and have read just about everything I can about the products and I really like what I have read. It also seems to be made so it can be used easily in a hydro set up, with no sediment in the nutrients, unlike the Roots Organic line. GH Europe offers a one part nutrient called BioSevia. It was formulated to be used in bioponic set-ups, so it may be exactly what you are looking for.

With all of this said, I still believe the way to get the best results, organic or not, is having a stable, healthy system in place. It doesn't really matter what nutrients you give them, if your set up offers proper amounts of everything the plants want they will always produce to their full potential.

the trick to using the biocanna is you can realy push the nutes more then what is recomended on back and to be honest i have pulled the heaviest load i ever grew indoors using that line i dont wanna say how much because i was called a liar on another thread but what i posted was true
