Which way should I hang my light in this situation?

Ok which way should I hang the light in my 5' by 32 inch room? Hmm it's hard for me to figure how to word this..lol.
Let's say the A and B are the 5' walls and C and D are the 32 in sides. Should I hang it so it is hanging centered and longways along the A and B or longways along C and D?I'm asking because I just recently read that light from the two ends isn't as bright as the horizontal light coming from the long sides of the reflector.I wish I knew how to draw a simple graph on here,because I can't seem to figure out how to word this right.Here is the link where I read this and there is a graph that illustrates what I'm trying to figure out.Thanks ahead if anyone can figure out my idiocy.

If your space were a rectangle you would have the bulb ends across the width of the space,not the length.

You want your bulb parallel to the width but centered....

Length= Longest side
