Personally, I would stay away from the happy frog or any other soiless planting mix due to the aforementioned ^ reasons plus I like to nute the substrate a la carte. I add P guano, mychoz and crab shell meal for chitin- ie Marine Cuisine, Neptunes Harvest or straight up in bulk. But you know how it goes- what you do at the front end depends upon the overall nute prog and growing style.

Thanks guys 4 the helpful info.. I'm juss trying 2 figure out a way 2 use up what I got cuz I'm super broke.. I have 2 full bags of Happy Frog & so far the Happy Frog is kool it juss holds 2 much water. & I have a gaint bag of Perlite 2 thin out the Happy Frog & I remembered my Boy gave me a block of Coco a couple months ago that I 4got about.. I was juss wondering if all 3 were compatable? Or if was another 1 of my stupid toxic mixes? But when I get some ends I sure want 2 try a run with that Coco mix ur talkin' bout Ali.. I've been hearing Coco yields better with Lil taste drop off compared 2 Soil.. Or maybe I can use this block as a test run with 1 plant..

should work out try it ... cut it with that perlite you got and it'll allow you to water more frequently with lots of fresh o2 !!!

Kool I juss didn't want 2 Fuck up again.. When I mix things I kinda get out of control I try 2 mix in everything.. That's how I almost killed the WiFi I can never juss mix 2 things I always push my luck & try 2 add more...More, more, & more but that's not good with bud I need 2 remember Less,less & less.. Less is better that's super hard 4 me 2 change.. Cuz I'm the kind of person that wants more,more,more:character0029:

Hell, use what you have on hand bro. Nuthin wrong w/ Frog or most any other premium mix. I've used it before. Just be careful: 1)it's relatively hot, so be careful w/ the youngsters. 2) it retains water (has polymers, i think) so make sure to keep it on it's own water schedule. I didn't and lost 2 weeks reviving some really pissed off plants. Aligee's suggestion about cutting w/ perlite is right on.

A note on perlite. There are different grades. I use course #3 - makes a Big diff.in medium structure, particularly towards the end of a run. Hope this helps a little. Keep on truckin- I'm sure I'll learn something new from watching your grow.

Thanks 4 that info Ganja I'm gunna try cutting the Happy Frog 50/50 with perlite I think I'm gunna leave out the Coco.. I think with 1 plant I'm gunna try Pure Coco or maybe 50/50 Coco Perlite juss 2 see how they grow..

Thanks UC but the situation keeps going problem after problem.. After I super flushed the plants & after the feeding the soil was so soggy I ended up gettin some nats flying around.. So I did a Azamax flush & plants were still looking pale so I gave them another feeding but then I think the problem was over watering I let the pots dry out then I gave them som Cal-Mag & a Lil grow that's it.. I cut out everything els the root juice,the karma, silica blast everything got droped 4 now.. I think my problem was not enough Cal-Mag cuz I was trying 2 add everything els 2 the mix.. The ppm's were so high I started 2 cut back on everything so I could add everything & I was cutting back on Cal-Mag & I run RO water so I think has y they were gettin pale.. Now I'm giving them 6ml Cal-Mag & 6ml (PBP) Grow & 3ml Hygrozyme 4 every gal of water & they r barley starting 2 show some life.. I'm juss starting 2 get new growth.. The pots r starting 2 dry out next feeding I'm gunna up the Cal-Mag 2 maybe 7-8ml.. All my OG strains r super pale.. After all my bad luck I barley got a chance 2 transplant my clones from the Lil cups they were in I transplanted them in 60% Perlite 40% Happy Frog & gave them a simple feeding Cal-Mag 6ml, (PBP)6ml, Hygrozime 3ml.. These plants r doing so good that I'm thinking I found my problem I think it was the Happy Frog was 2 thick it badly need 2 b cut with perlite & my feeding was all off now I'm keeping it simple juss 3 ingredients 4 now..

Aliendog V2 update

Here is my Aliendog at 59 or 60 days.. I'm in the middle of week 8 & my room is smelling pretty bomb rite now I'm gettin some crazy smells.. Most of them have this crazy Chem Funk some way stronger smelling then others 1 smells like mango or sumthin sweet..1 looks like Chemdog all others look Alien looking.. The Chemdog looking 1's have smaller crystals then the Alien leaning pheno's & my Alien leaning pheno's leaves curl like a Taco.. A pure white crystal coated Taco...here is a pic of my favorite AD this is my keeper it has a crazy undescribable smell a Chem Funk but with a strange wierd smell like hair spray.. I think Swerve said the Aliens smelled like Hair spray or maybe I'm trippin' but I thougt I mite of read that somewhere.. This is the pheno that I think is Chemdog leaning the crystals r not as thick but the buds r bigger & she smells like Chemdog..
