End of week 1 Flower. It’s been really cold here this week and I’m struggling to keep the room at 60*f. Sometimes it gets down to 57*f. Outside it’s been snowing. All this means the inside tent temps are 59* night / 73* day. Not the best recipe for explosive growth. On the bright side, I’ve been tucking everyday and there are more tops now, plants look happy. This is just before lights on today. Happy growing everyone!!

Mixed up this weeks res today.

Silicate
DM Bloom A&B to 550ppm
VooDoo Juice

Feeding three times a day, for two minutes on the first feeding of the day and one minute on the next two.

I eliminated the calmag. The plants don’t look like they need it. They are growing well and a bit too green. So I don’t think they need the extra nitrogen in the calmag.

The SCRoG is going better than last time. Almost have plant at all four corners of the net. I moved the light up about 6” as the tops looked a little small. That helped them grow into the light better. All in all it’s going well. No bugs, no deficiencies, no worries! Happy growing!

Just done my flower space, the Juan Herer (4) is on 700ppm, and the Juan Herer (5) is on 600ppm, the 600ppm plant is double the size of the 700ppm plant, the 600 was a smaller cutting that was snapped off the plant while I was moving it to the flower space, don't know if there is any info you can use there? The 600 I'm keeping lower PPM's on as far as I can get it to go, just to see if it does better than the one on 700, we'll see how it pans out. Looking good at your end.

Thanks, yours are looking good too. I’m finding the lower ppm 500-600 vs 1000 is better for multiple feedings per day. Last run, even in full flower, if I hit 900-1000 ppm I would get tip burn. So far, other than maybe a little too much calmag, they look great.

Thanks dude, this is what I'm finding with lower PPM's, faster growth, stronger plants altogether.

Yup, me too man. Multiple, low ppm feedings a day in coco is the way to go.

Update: End of week 2 flower.

Doing well. I lollipoped the plants up the the net today. I also adjusted the timer to water at 2 minutes each time. I left a few branches that might make something. I just want to see what will happen.

The #1 plant in the upper right corner will be great when it’s the only one in the net. The other two just don’t grow the same. I took a picture mid lollipop as a before and after. But it is a bit more leafy then the other two were. Still not a perfectly full net, but I’m working on it. Maybe next run, it’s harder than I thought, haha. Happy growing, farmers!

And some bud pics. Small, but many! Raised the light another 4-5” to maintain a 22” distance.

Fresh res mix today with;

Silicate
Dutch Master Bloom A&B
B-52

Ph corrected to 5.8

Went a little hotter on the res this week to 700ppm. I’m going to hit them as hard as I can until week 5 and then start to back them down ppms weeks 6-7, flush weeks 8-9. That’s the plan anyway lol.

Cut out the VooDoo Juice and added the B-52 to help with the stress. It also helps with stem strength and is a bud builder. I was going to throw in some left over Big Bud I had laying around, but my ppms were getting up there and I didn’t want to push it too far.

BTW, the canopy has exploded since the lollipoping. :D

Update on grow room. I needed area to veg, so I built one. It’s getting the job done, but still needs some finishing. Framed it up in the corner on two pallets. Bottom pallet is on big 18” round stumps. Then wrapped in panda film. Exhaust fan plumbed in and on a thermostat and speed controller. Light is a problem, but that’s all I have at the moment. Looking for a reasonably priced used 400MH on Craigslist for this area. Then I will propagate under the 2” 4 bulb T5 (currently pictured here) in the cabinet, veg under 400w MH, flower under 400w HPS in the tent. Still working out the watering and draining parts. Check it out.

That’s the White Widow pheno #1 mother plant and some pepper starts. The starts have had a rough go of it so far.

Update on plants day 20 of flower. Kicking ass and taking names in the flower tent! The temps in the area have risen a bit. So I have been able to raise tent temps to 78-81 *f lights on and 65*f lights off. RH has been a steady 55% (ish) controlled by air exchange. They are loving it in there.

Cleaned and filled the res. This weeks recipe for success is;

RO water
Dutch Master Bloom A&B (500ppm)
Big Bud (50 ppm)
B-52 (150 ppm)
SLF-100 (enzyme)
700ppm total

I’m still feeding them for two minutes, three times a day. I always get good run off. Dropped the ph pen in the res, it parked at 5.6 and I left it there. I’ve been clipping leaves here and there that were shading tops. Seems to be progressing nicely. Happy growing!

Thanks bro.

I moved the light up again about 2”, so it’s back to 22” over the canopy. I have been happy with how I have controlled the stretch this time. The nodes seem to be staking nicely and they are not all up in the fan like last run. Three weeks in, 6 weeks to go. 4/20 harvest!!!

Im thinking the same if i decide not to clone these babies. Im afraid to do it since it's my first grow so i wouldnt mind picking another strain from the same spot. Im also happy with them at the moment. Im just hoping im doing things right. Definitely looks like you are! Congrats!

This current run is clones from my seeds I got from them. Cloning is all about environment. Get that right and you won’t know what to do with all the clones you’ll make. I took a cutting off the flowering plants at week 2 and just stuck it into a small square pot with potting soil, covered with a sandwich baggie. No diagonal cut, no serializing the blade, no rooting hormone, no scratching the stem, nothing. It’s been in there for about 10 days now and looks fine. The jury is still out on if it has rooted, but it’s looking like it is.

Cutting + about 80*F + 80-90% humidity = Clone
