Update week 5: day 35 of flower.

The buds are looking great. Got a small fungus gnat issue I’m going to address with an Azamax drench tomorrow. I also got some tip burn. I backed the solution strength down to 1.3EC. I’ll reduce it again next week. Here’s some pics of the girls.

Update week 6 (day 43 of flower)

Plants are doing well this week. They are putting on the frost! When I reach in to gab the random dead leaf my arm gets very sticky. This run is a lot more dank. The plants smell like pine and diesel. I’m still pulling canopy leaves here and there that are shading buds. I’m trying to only do a few at a time. EC is at 1.1.

Update week 7 (day 49 of flower).

Going well this week. Yesterday I began using “Recharge” as my weekly microbe tea. EC is currently 1.1-1.2. I’m keeping the PH around 6.0. Res temps have been around 68-70*. Tent environment has been RH 45-50% / Temp 68-78*. A few days at 80-81* lately but always good airflow. I have been checking the trichs and they are still mostly clear. I’ll start flushing when there are more cloudy ones.

Update day 65 of flower:

Trichs are still a little too clear for my liking. However, I’m starting to get some amber ones now. So they are coming down in a few days. Probably by Thursday. That will give them 70 days of flower time. The smell is powerful pine/earth and they are very sticky to the touch. Harvest pics will be up in a few days. Stay frosty my friends.

Chopped them this morning. Stripped the remaining fan leaves and left the rest for dry trim. No hay smell, so that’s a good sign. I’ll post up the weight after 7-10 days drying time. I have the buds on hangers in the flower tent with the exhaust fan set to 60% RH.

Trimmed and jarred this morning. I ended up with;

8.5oz bud
4.2oz larf/trim

Not too shabby for a 3x3 with a 400w HPS. I’m also pleased with the smell. It’s already very dank, I can’t wait for the smell after a few weeks of curing. I tried some scissor hash while I was trimming and it tasted pretty clean. All in all it was a good grow. On to the next one! (OG Kush) :D

Nice harvest, I chose a couple of different strains this time too, got gifted an Afgani seed, and I planted the Purple Bud seeds I was given, kept the best plant from what popped and gifted the rest to couple of buddies.

I just ordered some fem Cinderella 99 and fem Mazar seeds from Growers Choice Seeds. I plan on running all three strains (with the OG Kush) perpetual. As I’ve moved on from the White Widow I’m going to wrap up this thread. I’ll start a new one if I decide to continue documenting the grow. Thanks everyone for all your help to this point. I’ve learned a lot on the Farm.

Here some pics of my last (for now) WW plants. I decided to experiment with them and flower one of them under the T5. The other two were moved to the HPS tent. They are all about 1-2 weeks from harvest.

Howz it going with your new strains?
Hey Chem. Going good so far, thanks for asking. I hope your garden is happy and healthy. The plants are growing well after a small hiccup following germination. I almost lost the OG Kush, but I figured it out in time. I was hand watering pH tap water the first few days after sprout and she wasn’t doing anything. She popped up, threw out the first single finger leaves, and stopped. I know common knowledge states that we don’t feed seedlings for the first month. Being in coco, I planned on starting the feedings after the second week....bad call. As soon as she started turning yellow at the end of week one I moved her out of the 3.5” pot I had her in for germination, and put her into a 2gal fabric pot. I immediately began auto feeding EC=0.4 twice a day. She recovered and took off. Started to get some cal and mag issues so I bumped it up to EC=0.7 and then 1.1. Currently feeding at 3/4 REMO recommendation on the bottle, twice a day. CalMag issues cleared up and no burn yet. These are now in week 4 of veg. The OG Kush is about a week older, but due to the issue I’m just counting her the same age. She’s a little smaller than the other two, but has just as many nodes. I did topping and some LST a little over a week ago.

(Left to right) OG Kush, Cinderella 99, Mazar.

Your plants look poised to go for it, very bushy, I always seem to get a cal def when things go a litte pissed. lol My plants are down to one Juan Herer at the moment, due to work commitments. I use those yellow sticky cards, even if I don't see a bug, just in case there might be one sneaking around.

Yeah, they already have a bunch of roots poking through the fabric. I’m liking these pots a lot. I’m using Gnat Nix this run to control those little bastards and it’s working great. I’ve only seen a few gnats here and there, but nowhere near as bad as last run. I’m with you as my yellow cards are basically a monitoring device at this point too.

Your plants seem to like the pots. I like the new plant stands, did you buy them with the air pots in mind?
