Ppm is 1000 on auto. Raising ppm on photos from 700 to 850 today and doing a res change on both systems.
Ironically for the two photos, it's been well over a month since I've done a res change lol... With no chiller..
Included in the video at the end is my new 4x8 6plant system. Fun fact, toilet parts are a great cheap 3inch bulkhead replacement. More to come on that as time goes.
The photos, the plant on the left, and the plant on the right, are on the same rdwc system. 10gallons per plant. I had the ppm at 660, after 1 week it dropped the ppm down to 630. The fan leafs on my king tut have signs of calmag def. It could have just used it all up, but i still have plenty of room to add water so i figured id check before lights out tonight, run it at 900ppm for about 10hrs, then check it again and if its raised, stayed even, or lowered ill adjust accordingly. I can also adjust it in a few. The system has about 14 out of the 20 it will hold. Its pretty low level due to it preforming better and less root issues.
Pythium got the roots for a few days unnoticed, turned them black. After a long process, I was able to minimize the damage to the plant.
Roots no longer have slime and should be up taking properly. I did have about two days of stunted growth that was noticeable. In the last picture a close up you will see the new fan leaf on the bud showing orange spots. Not quite sure what deff it is, but it was only on the very new growth. The older fan leafs also show major calmag deff now. Luckly I didn't defoliate after res change or it would have been bad.
So instead of white roots, they tan lol.. Which is fine, the microbes are colonized now and enzymes were added for the pythium to munch on while I build them up.
Ph is rising hard even with heavy buffer. I got alot Goin on in that pot lol... But I keep the filter cleaned and now the slime is gone... So I'm happy.
That said.. Heres the girls..
Note the Dwc in the middle never had any issues.. Its steady uptake at 950ppm 5.6ph 73 water temp... Little slower growth than the other two, but it was a two month veg while the photos were only one month.
Res for photos rdwc is spotless now roots are perfect again.
The gelot.og is beefing up. The buds are way to heavy for the flemsy stems. I have to tie them up as they grow apparently. For a first run, while building an even better system, I'd say I'm doing great lol.. Id say, but what do you say though?
Questions about time left and possible yield. The gelot. Og looks like it will be done about the same time as the king tut, yet the tut will be about 1/10th yield, it's wild because they are in the same hydro system. Seedsman said the og would be medium size and the tut would be small. Some of my smallest buds on the OG look as big and denser than the tut.
As for the white widow auto in the middle.. It's Dwc and so slow at growth. It had a two month veg VS the others one month so that's making me think it will flower for twice as long. It doesn't even look like it should be done anytime soon due to not filling out.
Partial harvest of top buds with low to 0 white hairs.
I harvested a fraction of whats in the tent. The top down Pic of what is left still.
I'll be harvesting buds through out the week. Im impressed that's for sure. Not bad for a mars hydro system. Was never even able to run the light at 100%, which will always be my goal. Too much light is better than not enough apparently.
White widow auto first Pic, gelot.og second Pic, king tut third Pic.
All are very potent, like dispensary quality. Looks like around 1.25 oz out of the king tut, dry trimmed weight.
Can't say for sure how much on my gelot and white widow I'll get. I've gotten 1.25 off each plant. The king tut was a small plant, I won't grow them ever again lol.
Now my gelot og.. It's gonna have at least 4oz, and my white widow will have at least 4 ozs.. At least I'm hopeful lol..
If I get 8oz out of my 2x4 I won't be disappointed. I will say I've learned alot and will be starting a 6 plant fallponics system after vacations over. I now have a 6 plant veg room and 6 plant flower room.. The fun will start soon.
