This is what I have to work with. I got the large bag on the left this morning. They are open until 8 so if I run short I can go back for more. I hope not... had to walk 4 city blocks with that large bag. I'm too old for that. 🤣
Looks good. I used the HF too. After a while it settles and some of the roots can be exposed. Not sure if that's a bad thing, but I'm thinking of adding more either way. Call your water dept. and ask what the Chlorine level is (ask them what the PH is leaving the plant while you're at it as that is good to know if you don't have a meter). If Chlorine is high, you could let your water stand over night (make sure it's uncovered). I brewed beer back in the day and our water had chlorine so this is what I did. Generally, there isn't going to be a ton of Chlorine in the water. I'm new to this myself, but I don't believe there would be any other reason to have to leave the water to stand.

Are you using Part A and B base nutrients? If so, make sure you measure them separately, rinsing the measurer between each and mix into a decent volume of water and stir them in. I mention it because I already screwed this up. They say it wont hurt anything; it will just render both useless.

The Happy Frog has been good so far. Plants seem to like it. This was an expense that I did not consider before implementing my strategy of growing 12 plants in 15 gallon fabric pots! LOL. Good luck! Looking good so far.
