Why are my nodes stretching?

I duno why but my nodes are all so long this run. Im not sure this will create bigger or more spaces out buds?


How does it look
And what can i do next time to make things better. Is it cause they got stretched in veg?

How far away and what light you got. Honestly just looks like very vigorous growth. Some strains have larger node spacing

1000 watt hps 16 inch i can go down to 14 though but dont wanna be to close

Long internodes are caused by (in no specific order):
light spectrum
light intensity
difference in day temps and night temps
strain
pheno

As said above, alternating nodes happen on clones and branches.

Immature plants grow symmetrically. Mature plants asymmetrical. So if a clone is taken after maturity like it should be it will grow asymmetrical too.

The branch looks fine. Different strains and phenotypes grow differently. And its usually potassium uptake problem if a plant is really stretching too much. It can be unseen except for excessive stretch. Many times you hear that the biggest best plant now has burned edges. That would be the K deficiency showing.
