Your t5 fixture is no slouch.
But you need to keep it 2-3" above the canopy for best results.

You will also want to train your girls more with a longer veg.

With t5 lighting you want a nice even canopy with many tops. That way you will focus most of the plant growth up top where the best light is.

This will help you with size and yield.
t5 lighting makes better flowers than people expect.

You Just need practice that's all :)
Yeah, if you have a 12 bulb vho fixture... one on all four sides of the plant....lol

I wish I could have gone longer in flower, but they're auto flower, and for some reason they decided too.

Is it hard to go flip to flower with none autoflowering?

I think your question was
"Are photoperiod seeds hard to initiate flowering?"

And if that is your question no it is not
Just keep your light period from 16-24hrs on each day and they will keep vegging.

When you are ready to flip just set your photoperiod to 12/12 And they will start showing flower site's within a week.
