Why is my clone growing like this?

The roots are clustered in the top of the pellet but not coming out of the bottom and the stem looks bulbous. This was a cutting from the top of a plant whereas my other clones were taken closer to the bottom

Roots grow where there is high moisture... now they are rooted take the dome off and transplant. Nothing wrong with those.
