baking soda / flour would have helped since you didnt have one. sry to see that tho be strong:muscle

Flour made the flames hit the ceiling. That's how my fingers got scorched......when the handful of flour hit the flames, it went up like kerosene! Baking soda is what put it out. I knew baking soda was the thing to use, but when I saw the flour I thought "oh, this should smother it too"...well mybe if I'd thrown the whole bag in there at once, but trust me, one handful was not enough!
