are you sure you dont have a light leak? power strip or some other small light?
just seems like there must be a common trigger for the nanners since it happened to 2 different strains right next to each other.

Me to PG. I'm gonna follow Sealed138's suggestion and look for light leaks. Doesn't make sense 2 strains next to each other coincidentally popping nannas/. thnks bro, they are fun to look at indeed.

Hey there Drty, I hope I got em soon enough too. That pollen stuff is so light, and the fan was right there blowing on them. Thankfully they were all down low. I'm getting super excited bro, harvest is near. Officially start the flush tomorrow. Been giving them super low ppms the last few days with full dose of Overdrive. Still not getting any fade.

I used it on this summer grow.
Can't say it "worked" because I was forced to harvest early due to cold nights and mold.
It was something to do.
Phospholipids in foliar application requires the Dutch Master Penetrator so this is not an inexpensive treatment but there is reason to think they may be on to something here.
Never been given a reason not to trust Australians.

Thanks for the tip Dunge. I'm hoping its all over with the nanner business, but we'll see. Not desperate enough to spend over a bill on preventative stuff at this point. Good info to know though.

GREAT point bro. I don't know why I didn't think of that. Earlier (first week of flower) I did a lights off test and found a light leak from the window. Sealed that. These plants are on the other side of the room though. Thinking maybe a power strip light or air condition light? I have them both taped, but maybe light is getting through somehow? Going to fix any possible issues tonight. Thank you my friend.

Rushoe, got your pics of the SFV and Banana. The first pic is SFV. Love the calyx to leaf ratio with this stuff, a pleasure to trim. Pic 2 is a Banana top nug. Pic 3 shows the other SFV (small plant) in the front middle and the banana in the rear.

I took a few of the WIFI and Fire Alien also.[/QUOTE]

I went in there tonight 45 seconds before the lights came on. I wish I had gone in a couple minutes earlier so I could have done a better test. All I could see in that short time was a tiny bit of green light from my a/c on switch and a tiny bit of red light from the fan speed light on the a/c. Both lights had tape over them, but the light shined through the tape very dimly.
I really do think it must have something to do with this.

I'm running the largest one they sold at my hydro store, and the only one they said fit my fan. I have it connected to a 12" ecoplus inline fan. If you want the exact specs let me know.

Rush man I can't wait to taste this soil SFV and Banana bro. Been running this stuff in hydro for a year now and its bomb ass herb. No, never again will I waste space indoor with soil. Coco kills soil as far as yield PERIOD... I mixed up a bomb ass soil for these girls, look at my outdoor, same shit. The only disadvantage they had was only having 1 week from dixie cups to 3 gallon smartpots. Right when they went into smartpots they went from the florecents in veg room to HPS 1000 in flower room. They had 1 week veg/ hardening off time in flower room before flower. I think they would have done better with 1 more week to fill in the 3 gal. pots before flower. Flushing WIFI tomorrow. No more nanners as of today. Think I got em all.

These girls are getting heavy. Had 2 tops topple over today lol. Got em tied up and back in position. Smell is rediculous. WIFI #2 is totally white. #3 is looking insane! #1 is foxtailing a bit and smelling delicious.

Fire Alien #1 is still just f-ing incredible. I could take her now she looks ready to go. # 4 is chunky as hell. All 6 plants have very little leaf, and lots of sticky ass calyx love. This shit is amazing yall.

I had been suspecting the beginning of bud rot on 2 nugs. One on Fire Alien 1, the other on Fire Alien 4. I decided to cut both nugs last night so that I can at least salvage what's there before it got all moldy from the inside out.

#4 definitly had some as you can see about an inch down from the very top it is almost brown looking. Wasn't able to confirm 100% that #1 was actually rotting inside. My tip was that a ring of leaves an inch below the top died (all 3 at that level) and the leaves below and above were perfectly healthy.

I've had a good deal of experience with bud rot. I'm able to identify it now in the early stages, which helps me reduce loss by clipping before its too late.

Here are some pics. #4 is the fatter nug. Also a pic of the fall class. Just gave em an anti-fungicidal shower.

Hey bro,
sorry to hear about that bud rot.
Since your use to running c02, you might want to try this since your not.
Increase your air flow inside the room, it might take more a/c to keep kewl, but youll gain more fresh air with less humidity, maybe that will help out. Just a thought, i know u know how to rock it.

Hiboy I don't think the bud rot in this case is related to humidity. First of all, I'm lucky in that none of my really big colas have any rot, not yet at least. In my experience certain strains are more susseptable to bud rot than others.

In my previous runs with the Chemdog #4 I was running, it would always have a couple or 3 colas with some rot. This while the Sour D growing right next to it with bigger colas never ever had bud rot. Neither did the SFV or the Banana.

So, my early hypothisis is that Fire Alien (both phenos 1 and 4) have a tendancy for isolated instances of bud rot. In the case of the 2 nugs I clipped, one (Fire Alien 4) case of budrot has been confirmed, the other (F.A.1) is awaiting investigation upon further drying. I'm not so sure my suspicion is accurate on #1. But at least I'll have an early taste! :cool0041:

What it b Drty. Ya actually Root pots bro. 2 gals for the Fire Aliens and 3 for the wifis. They run a bit bigger than the smartpots per gallon.

Just transplanted wifis and firealiens for next round a few hours ago. Ended up ordering 6 2 gallon smartpots from hydro store. Was bummed when I saw how small they were. Way smaller than 2 gallon rootpots! So I ended up using 1 old 2 gal Root pot I had, 2 plastic 2 gallon square pots and used 3 2 gallon smart pots. I put that crazy Fire Alien #4, and 2 WIFI #1 in the 2 gal. Smartpots.

Decided today what I'm going to run in the 3x3 tray along with the 2 White Dawg bushes. Going to put WIFI #2 in there with them in 3 gallon root pots under the 1k. That plant in flower right now is a beast, I mean beast. And the buds are WHITE. This has to be one of those famous WIFI phenos. Gonna be a huge yield from that plant. Ya bro, you're stoked, the #2. #3 is also FIRE and huge yielding, just not as white. Thinking #3 is Fire leaning.

Some of the best looking bud rot I have seen for sure lol sure looks really frosty bro I bet its gonna be some bomb shit not the rot but the buds looks fire for sure...

And whats up with the ones outside????Are u gonna leave them outside to flower?I ask cuz Last time I put a bunch outside in the same size containers and found it kinda hard to keep up with it trying to water lost some plants that the sun cooked so this time I put them in bigger pots the smaller ones would also get heavy and tip over has some sick as white fire plant with coco dust all over it try cleaning that off a 4 oz plant lol.....SO that why I put them in some bigger pots thinking they would be better off turns out I am having the same issue they are eating about twice a day and still tipping over I think Ima gonna strap them down with a brick or something....

i really doubt that the led's r ur problem here,,,, in the great outdoors and with a fullmoons MJ plts grow without issue, so ataped over led light will have no effect on hermie problems, good luck n nice plts !
