NICE WORK SON! The room turned out beautiful, super clean! The ladies look gorgeous as well. Damn, I can't wait to get my dirty little paws on some WiFi beans. Just started the white a bit ago and have beans of the fire cut (raskal og, California connection), but not the cross yet. Anyway, MAAD props dude, best of luck with the grow. Peace!

Thanks again for stopping by Mitch. Yea i seriously get a kick out of it every time my teachers talk about techniques we use as farmers and they have some awesome technical term for what we do. I wish i could get a few ladies into that greenhouse! the professor in charge of that greenhouse was a very strong supporter of prop 19 last year so if she wasn't worried about her job, i'm sure we would already be growing in there.

Thanks motiv! I spent a lot of time designing and building out this location. So it means a lot when people compliment it. Your working with the genetic make-up I have just not the cross huh? I would almost rather have that. But I trust that Raskal did great work with his breeding so I am hoping for a real keeper to come out of this run. Stick around for the real show starting when I make the flip to 12/12 either tonight or tomorrow. I just have to wait for my coco to dry out enough to give them their first dose of flowering nutrients.

On that note, does anyone experienced in coco have advice for me, I am wondering if people growing in coco are generally flushing before they introduce flowering nutrients? I noticed that House and garden has me drop my base nutrients down to about half dose for the first week of flower so I thought maybe a flush before hand might be in order to get rid of all the base nutrient in the coco from my veg fertilizing? I have not done this before, so I will probably not be doing it this time around, unless someone has had good experience with flushing at the start of flowering, first hand. Thanks in advance for any responses.

ASAP I will flip. I just wanted to give them a few days to settle into their new 7 gallon homes and allow some of the water logging lower in the pot to dissipate. Tonight or tomorrow the lights will be on a 12/12 schedule. Thanks for stopping in GM.

thats kind of a bummer......i popped all of them thinking i needed to weed out the males....at least ill have one or more super dank phenos!!

same with the white s1........again same thing....maybe more than one amazing pheno......

yours are looking GREAT BTW...curious what your gonna yield!

..Ill post picks of mine in a new thread once they are on a reg veg cycle....just put them back in a few days to week ago!!
I do a pacific northwest super soil mix (which ill be selling as a new company in the next year or two) and went with 2 plants per 7gal geo pot with all the white s1!! ill probably top em a few times but not much more for the first round, wanna see how they react in general!
my buddy has my wifi...he does Roots Organics coco, organic teas, in 18gal tubs...2 per tub also.....vertizontal(parabolic) scrog! very impressive...! but will never post pics of his rooms!! scetcher!!

any how bro....your room, setup and ladies look dialed, keep up the great work!!!

and im subbed!!

Good to have you around KL! Your buddy sounds like a friend of mine, also a Washington grower. . . no chance its him tho. Sounds like you will have a lot of girls to take care of. No worries, so far mine have been a breeze to maintain. I'm curious what I'm gonna yield too!

This is my first grow under a 1000w bulb, and its dual-arc just to make things even more interesting and unpredictable! My last grow was in a much smaller area, 2'x5'x5.5' and was flowered under a 600w HPS. I was able to pull 17.5 oz from 6 plants out of that space with a 9 week strain I got cuts of going by the name Cataract Kush. I am hoping to see something comparable to those numbers from this harvest, being that it is my first grow with this strain, light, plant count, room.

But, on the optimistic side of things, I am using 2x the space, almost 2x the light, 3x the co2 (coming soon), and guaranteed 2x (or more) dankness, so things could def end up closer to 1.5lb or maybe even 2lb if I get really lucky, but most likely that will be possible after I find a keeper for a mother and have the same phenotype going for all 4 plants.

Funny that you say my ladies look dialed, I walk into the room everyday and wish I could get all 4 looking more equally happy. Because they are grown from seed, they don't all want the exact same nutrient schedule, but they are getting it. I don't have the time or patients to mix separate reservoirs for each plant and that would also prevent any sort of pump irrigation, which is also still coming soon. Long story short, no matter what I try, 1 plants has the perfect balance of everything, 1 plant wants a little cal/mag, 1 plants needs a little nitrogen. . . you get the picture. Luckily like you said, they are all pretty close to where they need to be, and have been looking really healthy under that dual-arc bulb.

I flipped the light timer to a 12on 12off schedule yesterday, so I guess today marks the first day following the first full 12 hour nighttime period, so we will call Halloween day 1 of flowering! The girls have completely filled the lower screen in the ring, and they are pushing up towards the second layer. I have a little over half of the second layer screen in place, tedious work tying all those nots for the overlap to create 2x2" holes instead of 4x4" on the horti-trellis. I think next time I may just tie the screen with waxed string to avoid that annoyance. Anyways, here are some cool nighttime shots as of day 1 flowering, the flash made it look like moonlight.

Pistils have already begun to appear, I will update as that continues and the stretch gets under way. I will also be eliminating some smaller branches that have begun to grow more than i would like. Hopefully bring the number of tops down to about a dozen (per plant) or so. Currently there are 8-10 main branches on each of the plants, but I have enough canopy space for 12 tops each so I will leave a few of the smaller branches and get rid of the rest. Any advice on the best time to prune the smaller branches off would be appreciated, otherwise I will just do a couple per day starting now before the plant puts too much more energy into them.

P.S. I know leaves are dropping, the lights were off in these pictures, and I just sprayed with RO water tonight to follow up on a Magic Green foliar yesterday evening.

Meeks,

Thanks bro....I enjoy hanging here a bit... As its og kush ville everywhere on this site!! I jump back and forth between NWgreenthumb and here! Wa's OG scene is super weak....I'm working on that though!!! Lol!! I got 21 super dank ladies for next round and 10 are white s1 and 4 are pre98 bubba (humbolt clone only cut)!!

Good pull last crop...it's a DNA Genetics strain I believe!!!

I love that it's so white......moonlight!!!

The best time to trim the ladies is early veg....2 weeks b4 flower and a minor trim right after the stretch, 2 week mark...!!

Sounds like I might have missed the ideal window (2 weeks before flower) but I will do my best to remove small scruff branching a little bit at a time to avoid stressing the plant during the stretch stage, and then I will remove anything left over at the 2 week mark like you said. Thanks for the advice! Your lucky you have those outrageously cheap power rates thanks to all the hydro power in WA. You could run a warehouse for the same power bill as my garage! It is (no exaggeration) 10x the power cost for me down here! I guess that's motivation to get higher yields tho! I haven't used NWgreenththumb, but I will check it out, maybe I have a few buddies already using it.

The cut of Cataract Kush that I had was not the best IMO, it would get PM consistently (even when plants right next to it were fine) and had problems staying happy late into flower, but I worked with it a couple times and got it a lot more dialed on round 2, 11.5 ounces up to 17.5 ounces on round 2 using the same strain and same setup. That is why I expect mediocre yields this run, but I also expect those yields to increase a lot once I know how the WiFi wants to be treated throughout flowering.

I totally understand your pain with the electricity...Ive been here two yrs, im born and raised in San Clemente Ca...right on Trestles, my back yard and the trail merge at the top!! Its going up though....I just bought a house here 2 months ago...have yet to receive a full electric bill for 6k and all the bells and whistles!! we'll see!!

youll be alright doing all your pruning at the 2 week mark....just take what you have to take...so you can see how they react to all the trimming..then youll know for the next round!!

Love your clean set up bro
Arent those dual arcs groovie
I have a few also, curious to see how the ladies under them do. Also i have hps lamps next to the duals, so that will be interesting if i have superior growth where they are.
Do u take cuts from your ladies now for your next round or do u go from seed everytime

Week 2, Roger that. Next round is already begun, it will be White Urkle. I don't plan on growing the WiFi again for at least 2 more rounds. Too much other dank shit from OGR to worry about running the WiFi twice right away.

Love the dual arcs! Can't get over how much the light they put off looks like sunlight. . . please do a diligent job observing the differences in veg and flower using the dual arcs side by side with your HPS. I love the way they look, but for the cost of the bulb, I would def switch back to straight HPS if growth is equal. I took 4 cuts of each lady about 2 weeks ago. I have been neglecting the clone chamber and they aren't rooted yet, but they are all still alive and chillin, just not fully rooted yet. Starting from seed every time would be a pain, not having an established pheno that you know the stretch and nutrient requirements for. But, my next 3-4 grows will all be started from seed, as I will be doing these WiFi, my White Urkle already started, some White Masters coming up after the WiFi finish, and possibly some White Skunk or some other pack I grab on his next drop here in Cali. Then, maybe after all that, I will start running my chosen WiFi cut. haha that is like 5 months away, my mother is gonna be HUGE for just 4 cuttings. . . gonna have to look into that.

On another note, Pistils have shown up on all 4 plants at this point, and one plant is showing signs of a minor calcium deficiency again, while another shows signs of pH curl. . . . 2 looks healthy as can be, and they have all gotten the exact same treatment. It might be time to start giving them some personal feedings.

It has been about a week and half since I made the flip to 12/12, I was expecting a little more stretch by now, But don't be fooled by how low profile the plants are, they have been pulled out multiple times in the first level of screen to widen them and reduce height. I would say they have grown at least 8-10" in most branches, some more. The back left plant is 'A' (previously #1) and has been the least happy plant of the 4 throughout its life. Growth has been noticeably slower since the flip compared to the rest, and it got the worst of the claw when I accidentally over fertilized with magic green by following the directions on the bottle at 1/2 strength. . . 10ml/1L = plant death, I dunno how they managed that massive of a typo when the feed chart calls for 5ml per gallon. Luckily I only did half strength otherwise I would be starting my first flower cycle in this setup with the White Urkles and have 4 dead WiFi's.

More updates will come when there is something to take pictures of. For now they are just getting taller. I will be doing some thinning and trimming of the under brush over the weekend so I will maybe grab some shots then.

great looking grow you've got going on there. I had a great success with the UK Cheese clone under a scrog net. Good luck.
