Put a sample in the oven for a enough time to dry about 160? Ive always done that you lose lotz of flavor but the high is still there...decarb that shit!Always so tempting, but you're 100% correct. I'll usually pull a little .25g bowl out though and while I get a glimpse of the final product, I'm always reminded I should have waited. lol
Here's a great recent vid with some actual science finally. But my belief now is not that its bad or unnecessary, but may be beneficial for completely different reasons than we currently think. If chlorophyll content has a direct result on the quality of the smoke/cure, then a good flush/fade and increased anthocyanin productivity is essential. I will also be trying an extended dark period while still potted before hanging.
I had to stop the video at 1:20.....do these people idiots whatever they should be called have any clue. Theres a lot of scientific studies on cannabis.. problem is they dont want to share it with the public(just the foom and gloom side they want to share) becsuse if they share everything the know they will lose market capitalization of their business. If RX green technologies came out and said 100% definitively this is how you should grow, flower, flush, cure hell even market your product, they'd lose money and market share to their competitor's....think sbout it. If you owned this type of business or any would you share your knowledge to the rest of the growing world? Fuck no!Here's a great recent vid with some actual science finally. #fakenews right?I had to stop the video at 1:20.....do these people idiots whatever they should be called have any clue. Why do you think every grow bible or book is straight bulldhit and only touches on the basics of growing....not a single ive read goes into the scientific realm....have you ever asked yourself this? The reason they dont because if they ket out all the secrets everyone of them douchebags writting a book would lose market share. They wouldnt be able to capitalize!! Lol...sheep are funny people...hip hip! Hip hip! Hip hip!
What do you mean by "residuals"?Ive read interviws with big name breeders that say to feed N to the end. You will be in for a longer cure. That its ok. I think the point is that chlorophyl can be cured out and residuals cant be cured out...thats my understanding.....i think shanti baba is one that ive heard say that the another might have been kevin jordey...im certain they're 2 if thev3 ive heard say that...adam dunn might be the other...hope im not putting words in any of their mouths
? Asked and answered...y are you askin me that? You know what it meansWhat do you mean by "residuals"?
DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA WHY PHOS IS PRESENT MORE THAN K OR N AFTER A 14 DAY FLUSH?
Reasearch and get back to me? I have pretty good idea
Just cite your sources then and keep the bro science to a minimum, no prob
I'll get back to you then.
Yeah man, I tried to say (poorly) that I think flushing is good. Just not for the reasons we do it. I put up a link to a scientific study to back up what I said. You said something like... I heard some dudes say some stuff one time and I hope I'm quoting them right...The study concludes with 84 people sampling the finished product....has parameters for the people to respond about taste, smell, color of the ash whatever the other one was...they combined all 4 as good bad etc. Lol
The parameters should have been seperated and respondants given their opinions separately for each given parameter. Taste, smell, high, color of ash. They just combine them all....this is what i hate about studies...its like create a wanted outcome and cook the "study" to get that desired outcome....why didnt they compare different substrates, fertilizers(synthetic vs. Organic), ph, temps, etc.
Id like to see a flush study based on ph...high ph 10. That will make everything unavailable to the plant cant take it up cant store it right? I could be wrong since i have a limited knowledge of chemistry....
Jorge!..omg the quintessential pot scientist. He definitely has nothing to sell! The unsavory effects of using fertilizer when growing marijuana
Our marijuana growing expert explains the chemical taste when nutrients are added to soil. Get info on using fertilizers and flushing when growing weed.www.thecannabist.co
Oh yeah...and they're definitely flushing this field too.Your the one that got cocky...now you just go off and get more cocky...lol
Ill bet your knowledge of P in the plant is very limited at best. Or you would have something inteligent to add....not just cockiness!! When is your birthday....ill send a rooster!!
read the book the indian professor from the u of mississippi wrote...that uni has been reasearching cannabis for 50 years....surely theres enough info in that book to disprove some of what this study concludes...
Thevrest of my posts should have told you i went back to watching it...lol...i was commenting throughout the video...you couldnt comprehend that i was watching or watched it all...all my post should have concluded that to you...but you eluded? Why?Yeah man, I tried to say (poorly) that I think flushing is good. Just not for the reasons we do it. I put up a link to a scientific study to back up what I said. You said something like... I heard some dudes say some stuff one time and I hope I'm quoting them right...
The fact you could only get through 1:02 of the video tells me all I need to know about how willing you are to look at this with an open mind and discuss it anyway.
And my knowledge of "P" is off the charts.
That cocky enough for ya?
Funny you are comparing apples and oranges! Got no where else go, hey?Jorge!..omg the quintessential pot scientist. He definitely has nothing to sell!
Oh yeah...and they're definitely flushing this field too.

Never hard feelings just good honest debate and discussion always!!Funny you are comparing apples and oranges! Got no where else go, hey?
Im not a jorge fan neither....shanti and nevil all the way.
Hod bless the people they got seeds from in 2nd n 3rd world coumtries. If not for them!?!
I just watched the video didnt read your post with it....im someone that will argue til im dead if its a subject im passionate about...organics is one of those subjects...i think the petro based ferts can f off...you make a valid argument ill say that...chlorophyll breaks down over time. How i understand it is if the temps and humidity are right residuals fade away during the dry and a lil more during the cure...chlorophyll will too...as long as the dry n cure are done right...keep them green to the end! It's not the first time I've been called cocky dude, I get it.And yes, I did notice after you watched it, but I had already spewed out my post lol. Thank you for taking the time. I myself found them boring too but useful info. ❤ ❤
That 100% is the same for organics? Id say no...just based on chelation and molecular size of synthetics vs. Organics.Let's agree to disagree that we're flushing anything out but chlorophyll because according to science, any minerals absorbed by the plant become PART of the plant, forever. I think...lol
