thanks for the responses everyone

not sure why herming was even brought up, besides its not like its a permanant change or something, cannabis is naturally hermaphroditic and if this plant wants to wig out for a few after being hacked down to its roots then i can relate. i have full confidence she'd calm down and be fine. thats like a worst case scenario. love this plant though, beautiful, tall, strong and healthy plant. hopefully she gets what she needs next round

Ive never pushed this strain to the max as far as stress yet,and i push her around real good.and obviously this is hypothetical question as theres no way u can answer for sure but is this so quick that chance of herm is more likely? @Toaster79

Im about to do one that the clone didnt root from and it looks and smells fire. I just let them dry out a bit, harvest tops, then transplant to bigger pot and water with veg nutes under 24/0

I'd leave her at least a few more weeks till she starts pushing normal growth like before flip and get those hormones in check. You flip to early you'll end up with nothing but poocorn. And clean her up well before you flip. Remove all the old flower material and small sucker shoots and branches.

Assuming I feed veg nutes and put her under 18 or 24 hrs? God willing, I had to chop early due to humidity. I could have left more on there but all her leaves had faded and fallen off.

I just did the same thing, just tried to trim the buds on the branches I wanted to keep right above the node. I actually took her out of the pot, cut a small outer layer of the football with a serrated knife and soaked it in a microbe tea. Then just put her back into the same pot with some fresh coco and just a little veg nutes. It took a few weeks before I started to see some non-serrated re-veg leaves, a few more weeks and I was seeing normal vegetative growth. I was able to get more cuttings, and I swear for every bud site there is like 3 or 4 new branches shooting out.

I just had to be patient.
It may take 1-2 months for recovery and new growth.

Take as much bud as you can, you don't need to leave the actual buds on the plant, most of it will just turn brown and dry out. I you want to re-veg your plant to its maximum potential leave every branch you can on her, that's the "skeleton" you have to work with. Trim the major fan leaves, most of those will turn brown as well (ime). Then take your time to (only trim the buds, leaving the node directly beneath each bud. Think about it this way, each bud, even the smallest ones, can possibly turn into new growth so leave as much of the foliage that is all the smaller leaves (especially the ones that have small stems) as I believe some of those may turn into your new "fan" leaves.

Another thing to think about is

I have read that it's possible to yield more from a plant that is re-vegetated!

Does a cannabis plant have more new growth when it is re-vegetated?
-maybe because it has its 'Skeleton' support system and its roots are nicely established.
