Will stress on mothers make their clones lose potency?

Here's my question. REcently in the last week my water pump went out. Being sick and busy (holiday shit) I failed to notice it. The plants were pretty bad to the point were my roommate wanted to toss them. I changed the water in the rez, trimmed the shit outta the plant (dead foliage) and brought them back to life. This has happened once before. Because of my neglect will these mom's lose the potency of their buds in anyway? Should I just chop them down? They're looking healthy now but can there be any underlying issues? Any responses will be awesome.

P.S. I feel horrible about the mom's.:worried

if they bounce back and you get cuts to root theres no reason they shouldnt be as good as before

make some new moms from your cuts and dont trip

It is not good to have moms grown hydroponically just for this reason:)
