I find the email this morning to be interesting.

What if Texas votes Democrat in order to legalize Cannabis?

I'll laugh my ass off.. I am expecting Democrats to win more in November.

I think the only way to get these Republicans to end the useless war on Cannabis is to threaten their power.

Vote Democrat even if you thought you never would.
Make it a protest vote otherwise we will never break the stupidity of Cannabis prohibition. It should be something Mom and Pop grows in their garden not a controlled substance only Banks profit from.

The outside possibility of legal weed in TX is no reason to vote for anti-American ideology.
Every state that has legalized it has also piled on taxes, sometimes as much as 30%.

I'd rather remain an outlaw than vote for a "socialist" spewing communism.

Make it a protest vote....

What happened when people voted for Biden in protest of Trump? A chaotic downward spiral.
I believe that exercising the right to vote is much like exercising the right to own a firearm - just because you can doesn't mean you should.

Pot has been illegal my entire life, that has never hindered my ability to get it.

About anti-American ideology:
Rewarding voters with $5000 American's tax dollars was promised by President Trump last night at his Trump rally. If we just keep them in power. This is an American President openly violating our laws. Paying for votes is illegal.

So it does look like Texans are not happy with how things have went with this administration.
Not to mention that the TV Show Landman is obviously delayed until these political disturbances settle down. I mean how can they have a great plot and a great Season 3 with Trump and his "War of Choice?"
There is no way they can have a great plot when this could turn into WW III!

Thankfully American's can overthrow their Government every two years legally by the rule of our wonderful Constitution.

The more things go sideways and the more we see injustice we still have our ability to vote.
Yes mail in voting is looking safe for now.. It turns out that the President and the Post Office have nothing to do with our Elections.

So has everyone heard that Cannabis has to be rescheduled to Schedule 3? Yep there are three things that a Schedule 1 has to be :
  • High potential for abuse
  • No currently accepted medical use in treatment in the United States
  • Lack of accepted safety for use under medical supervision
So number one is a no-brainer. Humans have been inhaling the smoke since they invented fire.
No currently accepted medical use : That is Bull! I had to stop using cannabis so I could qualify for work. I started feeling pain in my knee and my hips. It turns out that I am old and my body is wearing out. But why did I not feel pain before when I knew my knee needs a moment to put some weight on it and that if I sit too long such as riding my motorcycle for two hours also is hard on my hips and they need a moment to adjust to getting up off the bike.
So, I figured it out. My organically grown medical strain has what my body needs to keep the inflammation down and to relieve my joint pain ( pun works here if you are out of joints ) when I sit a long time.

So, having more money every month is nice but I can get by with what I get on pension. So I have decided I would rather have weed than some low pay part time job.

Anyway, the Gas station weed situation looks like it is being delayed.
I assume seeds also are in there.

We are now looking at December for hemp products and November for synthetics. I happen to agree with no synthetics.

Isn't is real that the green they are trying to legalize is Cannabis $$$$ not Cannabis freedom?

In Illinois a medical person can now keep all they grow. That includes seeds so yes Illinois! Illinois is a Democrat State BTW.

So please vote in the midterms. I am not against people voting their way and for who they want.
I am all for us voting and participating in the way we settle our differences two years at a time.

In my view it is always a choice between two evils. My basic belief is they both support the rich and yet Democrats will throw the little dog a bone now and again (Healthcare, Food assistance and social programs to help the poor) and Republicans believe the little dog must get what the big dogs leave behind. You know trickle down economics. That rain is often yellow.

You know socialist policies and big government. That rain is always brown, smelly, and not entirely liquid.

It is an endless process my friend!

The Humor is the "legalization" is not of the Freedom for Mom and Pop to grow their own it is the "Freedom" of Corporations to make money.

The "Fight" is not about freedom it is about (WHO) gets in on the **MONEY!**
We have Big Cannabis and now Big Hemp! That is the fight about legal weed now.
The hope is that our Seeds are going to be schedule three too.

So yes we have the DEA saying Cannabis cannot be schedule one anymore by the very rules they use to classify substance and so the "magic money wand" turns that frog into a Canna-Prince"

And now let us play our Cannabis freedom anthem :

Ooooh Doggie!

Phew are the Farmers turning BLUE and fast!

Diesel is now up to $7.50 a Gallon!

Texas looks to be able to vote BLUE.
Iowa, Nebraska and so on, are not happy at all with Replublican leadership.

So, let us make sure our Democrats know we want to make Mom and Pop legal to grow their own no matter what State they live in.
No one should go to jail over growing a plant!

Regardless of future election results, one shouldn't expect much more than a change of custody where captive consumers get to redecorate the walls after being given a choice of prison cell, quibbling over the bars; at best, it's like pulling a thorn from the foot without any guarantee of healing.

Playing into the hands of either party implies a focus onto their many favorite games: this only erects more barriers which further delay this sam'o core issue: what justifies such legal & moral denial of our natural right to individual emancipation, free from predatory economies?

Name just one elite group ready to stop hiding behind its public image to finally promote general welfare! After all, ain't the risks associated with cannabis nowhere near severe enough to justify bending the knee to beg for permissions that cost nobody else?

I would hope it would start with you!

What is true today is that cannabis no longer fits the traditional Schedule I definition as understood by the Department of Health and Human Services.

The Department of Health and Human Services determined that cannabis has a currently accepted medical use and recommended moving it to Schedule III. The Department of Justice formally proposed that change, and the DEA is responsible for administering the rescheduling process.

Certain qualifying medical cannabis products have already been moved to Schedule III. The broader rescheduling of cannabis, however, is still going through the regulatory process.

So, the gloom and doom of "don't even try to have freedom" is something of a false religion in political terms.

I believe in the Founding Fathers' vision, and I do believe our democracy is being tested in extraordinary ways.

In a realm of scale, sometimes we need a particularly bad example to understand just how bad things can become.

In my opinion, Nixon gets a promotion above Trump! But in the same line of reasoning, Trump has also taken action that benefits the cannabis trade. So I have mixed feelings about that.

Like Cartman of South Park America, he has done something right for the wrong reasons!

And I suspect those reasons have more to do with the MONEY than with freedom for Mom and Pop to grow their own.

So, we have made real progress toward Schedule III. The scientific recommendation is there, and parts of the medical cannabis system have already been rescheduled.

The broader proceeding has encountered another delay. On September 29, the DEA's administrative law judge stayed the proceedings while considering a motion involving a Government Accountability Office report. Some opponents of rescheduling are continuing to challenge the process.

But a delay is not necessarily a defeat, just as a proposed rule is not yet a final victory.

And we should remember that Schedule III is not the same thing as full legalization, especially when it comes to the freedom of individuals to grow their own cannabis.

So I encourage everyone in the USA to participate in our elections.

Participation is how we settle our political differences through the democratic process. I don't accept the idea that we should simply give up because we believe our individual participation has no effect.

Our democracy gives us a means to change our government without resorting to violence. I believe we should value that opportunity.

And I still believe Mom and Pop should have the freedom to grow a plant in their own garden!
