Will this kill my plants?

I cut some Mylar I had to fit it under my plant. I feel like this will allow it to get more light from the bottom but since weed grows towards the light I’m not sure if it will do good or bad. Any thoughts?

My thoughts are that if you have a significant amount of light hitting the soil, you need to veg your plants a lot longer next time. Most light should be intercepted by plant tissue.

But for these plants, why not? If they show stress from too much light, you can change plans.
