We will have to work on making that happen. Right now I have GPxDon Mega, GPxGMO Cookies, GPxWhite Truffles, GPxTriangle Kush, and GPxCookie Blizzard. But alone it’s fire as well I just got tired of it alone 😂.

Nice setup, you can spend a lot of time getting everything dialed in, I spend too much time sorting my crops out.

what happened to this thread? Anyone here using a brix refractometer? And if so what's an idea measurement?

Hey welcome to the farm...my grow is going okay but I have a question about Brix %. Do you ever take readings with a refractometer? and how can we adjust the the feed to get a higher brix% ( sugars ) which I hear is a good thing......I get funny readings....my nice healthy leaves get a lower Brix.%@..7 than my yellowed leaves @10%...confusing my understanding of the brix % and the health of a plant....Is this anything you have experience with?
@PipeCarver So I just recently jumped on the Brix Refractometer bandwagon and only for the recent Mr grow it video that came out about 4 weeks ago (come to find out he has more than a few of these videos on BRIX). I spent the better part of the evening reading as much as I could on this Brix thing. I have a digital meter coming in soon and I'm already planning on grabbing a non digital unit here soon. It turns out the non digital units can help you point out potential problems vs the digital meters. I just saw that a fuzzy line reading represents a healthy plant and a sharp line reading represents a plant that's lacking in some form of nutrient. The idea area to grab your samples from is upper thirds of your plant and your wanting to only test the healthy leaves. The idea percentage to be at is 12% (and above). You also want to test in the middle of your light cycle (to most this would be at lunch time) and only at that said time or your test results will differ as the brix changes throughout the day. It peaks in the middle of the day. A low percentage under 12% means your plant is not at optimal health. You'll need to consider all aspects of your grow and not just the nutrients to up this. Lighting, environment, your soil, etc. it's also suggested that Calcium could be the problem lacking nutrient but to be careful because too much of one thing could off balance the entire grow. You don't want to dump a gang of Calcium in your soil when a simple light readjustment could've been the fix. Each grow is diffrent and adding this brix refractometer could help. or really fuck things up so proceed with caution. I'm super curious as to where my plants are with this Brix, my digital meter gets here Wednesday.
