Quick update. Eight plants (really seedlings) outside (Nirvana Chrystal and Mandala Safari). Nearly all getting their third set of leaves. Been quite rainy and humid over the past week. Looking forward to to much veg growth in July.

Torbor,

If clones are put outside in August would that be enough time for them to veg, flower, and finish. I'm around the same lat as you.

Hello Red! Putting clones outside in August can go several different ways. The one way they will always go is that they will finish. It is just a matter of how big they will be at the finish.

The clones could be put out August first and veg a couple weeks before starting to flowering and then have a normal stretch when they do start to flower.

The clones could be put out in August and start to flower and still go through their normal stretch but without any additional veg growth. They will finish just like the first example but be somewhat smaller.

Freshly rooted clones (their roots just popped) can be put out in August and go into flowering right away. Sometimes immediate 12/12 or outside flowering light conditions can make a newly rooted clone have a super stretch and they get quite tall and actually yield much more than the other two examples. It was either Shantibabba or DJ Short who talked about that phenomenon happening. I am still trying to get the timing down.

The answer to the question is they will finish. How late they are put out doesn't affect their finishing times it affects their veg time and therefor their yield. If they were clones taken from a mature plant (alternating leaves). If they are seedlings it might take them a couple weeks longer because they essentially are a 12/12 seed grow. 12/12 seed grows are very possible.

Clones are totally doable. All you have to do is look at the various times indoor growers veg for. Some people only veg a week and make the flip and some veg up to 8 weeks.

Julian on ICmag does his late minis as he calls them. Julian is one of the most skillful guerilla growers I know of. I am talking guerilla. No visits except to plant, midway check and weeding and then harvest.

He goes around and puts out 100's of small new clones and gets a 1/2 to 1 ounce budstick. It only takes 16-32 of those to harvest a pound in total weight. Plus the hole is basically a garden trowel scoop. You don't need a huge hole to yield an ounce. And if you had a hundred maybe 120 clones to stick out you could harvest 5 pounds or so. Late minis are totally worth it.

I am working on my minis too. I want 50 clones of Chemdog D and 50 Clones of White ready to go out the first week of August. They are rooting as we speak. It is a timing thing with late minis.

My home is turning into a greenhouse. I have been plant obsessed lately. I have seeds in the mail, seedlings under t5s, plants in holes and more buckets to be filled tomorrow. Other than cannabis, I've propagated snake plants, hostas, cedar trees, roses, and on and on. I planted a bunch of indoor and outdoor plants Saturday. I have about 150 plants going inside and what did I just do........went to the nursery to buy more. I've been using my spray bottle mister so much that I'll have Popeye forearms by the end of the summer. Best of luck and I hope you all get or keep the growing bug.

But can you make dinah-moe cum?

The growin' bug will always be strong in me.

Tobor The 8th Man, Great to see you going at it Tobor! I have probably puffed some of your stuff at some time! Thanks for what you do bro.! Keep it green! monkey5

When you are a dope fiend like myself you think about keeping it green 24/7. If you bought or smoked weed within 100 miles of my location I would be surprised if you didn't run into some of my stuff the past 30 years. Back in the 80's most of my stuff got smoked up in Philadelphia.

Shows at the spectrum were more fun because of my Skunk #1 buds or so I was told. There was like 5 days of Bruce Springsteen concerts in 1983 I think. I sold 3 pounds in ounces one night in like a half hour in the parking lot. I was there the night before and saw people begging for weed. So the next night I helped them out. My production has waned the last couple years due to getting old, choppers and crappy Octobers in general. But the memories of the good old days are still fresh.

Like the KISS concert in Harrisburg in the 1970's at the Farm Show arena. That place was filled with smoke from my weed. I sold 10 pounds in the bathroom before the concert. Half of it to security guards who were selling it during the concert. There were people passed out everywhere on ground level. KISS got high on stage from the dope in the air.

Tobor the 8th Man, Nice! I had such a good laugh when i read what you wrote! Been to Philly to the sectrum..some of the same concerts you spoke of..I was at The Pocano's Race Way for 3 days and 3 nights long concert/festival..was $10.00 to get to see 32 bands flown in ...right after Woodstock! At the Farm Show Arena i got to see Black Sabbath, Black Oak Arkansas, And Leslie West with Mountain..all for a $3.50 ticket! They used to just let us party, too! As long as you were not dealing with kids! Been to most of the concerts in my area and your area, back then!!! monkey5

Harrisburg Farm Show Building/Sportsmans Show Building!!

im to young to go to a kiss concert but i did see the movie as a kid. dont remeber much of it ecpet they had soem kinda powers or lasers?

In the 70's KISS wasn't a laser show band that I remember. Queen was.

Here are some more pics of container grows from this morning at 7 a.m. They start getting full sun around 8:30 a.m. They have really grown the last few days with the sun after a day or 2 of rain.

The pics are mostly Chemdog D and the white. The group pic consists of Kushberry, Fire White, Chemdog D and The White.

The seedlings of Tangerine Surprise and Tangerine Tar are doing really great. They should be down to the guano and manure layers now so they will be taking off even more soon.

With the whole timing thing, what would the best time?? August 1, no later than that? or earlier? Have the seedlings in a small greenhouse..thanks Tobor the 8th man great information. Iam going to give this a try sounds great!!

I'm putting out 4 buckets a day on average. I've got some g13xhaze, AMS - (Holland's medical variety), Easy Sativa(a new strain from a new co. that I forgot the name of, lol) and some AK47. I also have some White Dwarf, Easyryder and Diesel Ryder auto seeds on the way and some already in the field. If you haven't tried an auto yet I recommend popping a few. They grow so fast that problems don't have time to get a foothold, they fill out like SOG buds on a small stick and they are too small to draw attention to those flying over if they are spread out. Oh, did I mention you don't have to dig near as large a hole! I'm at around 35n. Next year I'm gonna start some autos indoors in March and go through the season sowing every two weeks or monthly and see if I can get a perpetual harvest going. I could actually resow them with a little amending of the holes and keep the work to a minimum. I live very close to my grows and they are on private property. Getting to my sites is easy and I know the landowner or this wouldn't safe or efficient.

Just depends! On...

Hey man, It depends on your strains and how long it takes to finnish outside. Also depends on how the fall/freeze...winter coming thing is this year! Really is all about how the everything, cold coming, falls in place for you or not!
If, we get no frost, and your useing mostly indica genes..by the end of October..you will do well! Just enjoy all your doing, Easyliving99! Be safe, bro! monkey5
