The box measures 32L
H: 26 cm x W: 39 cm x L: 51 cm

Think it would do for a 2 plant dwc setup or is it too small?

Got another box 70L
H: 39 cm x W: 39,5 cm x L: 72,5 cm

Or would this be suitable for a 3 plant system?

Yes you can fit two plants in there. I run a city picker pot in my small tent. I believe they are 9 gallon.

Depends on how big you want them to become. I use 3,5 gallon buckets per plant (15l) and I have 4 plants on a 70x70 under 250 hps I grow for 2 weeks under 100 wat led and then put them under hps 12/12 by week 3 half my bucket is roots. Thing to remember is that the smaller your reservoir the more ph flux you will have. If you plan to topfeed and not switch out the nutes I would go as big as you can go with the reservoir.
