Just remember: it’s a weed. ✌️

Green leaf mega crop
18 bucks per 3lb bag
Soluble, keeps easy.
I grow at least 70 plants per run,
Alot of the time waaaay more than that,
One of those bags lasts me 4-6 months with ease, at 50 grams every 4 days, per 10 gallon feed basin for veg

I have also ran 31 different strains at once using the stuff, not one plant bitched.
Its the most versitile nutrient i have ever ran.
Its ambrosia.
im running this on my next go round and im even more stoked now that i know you run it haha

I hear you but am gonna argue back...

Let me show you a "weed" when you follow the Fox Farm feed-chart to a T ! (My first grow)

Shame on you Fox Farm for over doing the feed charts ! I hope you enjoy your increased profits at the expense of my newbie grow ! (I've learned since then and have improved. I'm 5 grows in now._

First Grow Nirvana NL using the Fox Farm feed chart..

Nirvana Northern lights disregarding the feed charts and reading the plant...

That seems simple enough. Is the feed amount listed recommending to feed once a week or every watering?

I like this, to be honest it seems very similar to the charts I've been using for Dyna Grow and Fox Farm...

Please note: I'm not knocking Fox Farm or Dynagrow ! They've worked very well for me, I'm just thinking of trying something else to see what happens...

It's very simple, that chart is rock solid. It leaves room for experimenting with other doses or even adding other supplements in the future.
Feed at the doses in that chart, every watering.

If your medium has nutrients in it and depending on how much, feeding might not start for 4 weeks.
In a medium like Pro-Mix HP (no nutrients in it) you would start feeding around 7-10 days.

This is where I found that feed chart, has other good info about the Flora series in it.

Hi all,

I've used the Fox Farm Trio and Dyna Grow with good results, but I'm itching to try something else..

I'd really like something with a well written with an honest feed chart... Both Dyna Grow and Fox Farm roasted my plants following the feed charts, but after a few grows, I've learned to cut the recommended dose in half. I don't like this !

I could use Dyna Grow again, I probably will, but I'm up for trying something new... Please note: I am quite aware that most nutrients are all the same thing, just slightly different N P K ratios and Micro nutrients. I get this ! I'd be willing to switch to a new brand of nutrients for a well written feed guide...

Thanks !
Try a living organic grow. Build a soil 3.0 recipe for soil top dress a few times with craft blend. Do it once I promise you will never want to follow a feeding chart again.

Thanks much, I do like the feed every watering approach, this really helps simplify.

I use Fox Farm Happy Frog with perlite and fresh rabbit manure added to the soil. I do well for about 3 weeks in Veg until the leaves start to show that they need a little N....

Thanks for the tips on the Flora Trio, I've heard nothing but good things about it.

I've considered this (and have put a lot of thought into it)... Maybe someday, but for now I'm marching on with chemicals...

i never really understood the feeding charts so i use them as a baseline. it always confuses me like say in the chart it says to mix whatever it is but say its 10 ml/ gallon is that per plant. like that one gallon could be used to water one plant, but say you use it to water two plants then the amount of nutrients each plant gets is half? right? so i have twelve plants right now vegging, it would be nice for them to say each plant needs on average this amount of nutrients per week or whatever would be amazing.

although ive dialed it in much better i am always wondering in the back of my head that i could be giving these things way too little nutes and missing out on some benefits. i guess you just have to live and learn.

i know this doesnt help your problem at all but i am here for the answers too haha

Howdy, I used Peters 15 5 15 water soluble for veg. First 2 weeks of flower I used Peters 10 30 20 at 80% with the 15 5 15 at 20%. The rest of the grow is 100% Peters 10 30 20 with Advanced Nutrients Sticky Fingers. I put Sticky Fingers on everything, toast, eggs, ice cream😁.
I have had great great success in quantity and quality. We feed 2 times a week at 2 liters per feeding them during the week a liter of straight water as the plants were wanting more. Pics are last run of 4 Milky Way hybrids and 4 Pineapple Express auto. Anyways, I've tried most name brands, in coco, in compost and hydroponic DWC systems and Peters always came thru.

Look…

If it says 10ml per gallon of water, then mix 10ml per gallon of water…like 5 gallons would get 50ml…

And then water all your plants with it.

Don’t over think it.

Do exactly what the chart says to do because I promise that most of these lines have spent the money and time figuring out the right amount of feed to use for most genetics.

And it depends on your medium how often to feed, but feed with every watering….

Don’t worry about changing it up.

In soil…probably every 2-3 days…just go by weight…

In coco you have to water once or twice a day and it gets complicated so I’d stay away from it for now ha ha

You need to think of nutrients like diluting bleach, if you dilute bleach let's say 1:10 in 1 gallon of water then each quart is still diluted 1:10.

Same with nutrients. If you mix 1 gallon of water with 10 ml of nutrients, the ratio is the same whether you water with 1 quart or the whole 1 gallon.
NPK will be the same whether it's 1 gallon of the mix or 1 quart of the mix.
PPM will be the same whether it's 1 gallon of the mix or 1 quart of the mix.

The trick is to not over water or under water but to give the right amount, that's something each individual has to learn through trial and error.
The feed chart does not tell you how much water to give each plant, just the ratio of water to nutrients.

Why do bottled nutes cause so much problems?
My thinking is the uptake mechanisms are the cause.

Bottled nutrients are usually synthetic, and synthetic nutrients directly enter the roots. Thus, the amount used needs to be precise.

With organic nutrients, fungi in the soil are in a mutually beneficial synergistic relationship with the plant. They process nutrients and then feed the plant. The plant, in turn, feeds the fungi. That's why organic growing is more forgiving.

You explain that so perfectly haha thank you man that makes sense.

I obsess aboutr watering, maybe too much. In fact, to take any guesswork out of it, I weigh the soil and the pot to get a dry weight number and then weigh after watering. I know this is a bit much, but using a scale really helps. I can also tell exactly how much the plant is drinking and keep records.

The old finger in the soil trick never worked for me, after time the roots get so thick I cant get a finger in at all... But that's another story. Maybe I'm leaving my plants in Veg too long for the amount of soil I'm using?

I grow one plant at a time and haven't used 1/4 of my small Dyna Grow bottles after years ! My Dyna grow nutrients are 3 years old now, in fact, its not even Dyna-grow anymore, they were taken over by Superthrive... I'm sad too, the Superthrive website is not nearly as good as Dyna Grow...

I'm thinking dry nutrients are the only way to go...I'll probably need to dump these..

How do you mix your nutrients for one plant? Do you mix everything in a one gallon container? I also only grow one plant at a time.

I have 3 tents, smallest tent holds 1 plant and the biggest I grow 6 plants. No matter what tent I'm mixing nutrients for, I always use 1 gallon jugs because it makes measurements easier.
I mix 1 weeks worth at a time and shake then every once in awhile, the nutrients I use last awhile mixed but some nutrients won't last as long when stored mixed up.

Are you saying you mix all the nutrients per plant per gallon? Like for one plant, you make the nutrients in a gallon, 7 times? I’m sorry I’m just trying to understand because I feel like I’m taking an exam.
