Probably dealing with high rh and temps? My dehumidifier adds a good amount of heat but at night I get 70+% so I have to run itim on the south on the east coast
Buy the biggest one possible. First time you get hung up somewhere and can’t make it home you’ll be glad. Empty water daily and wipe out reservoir. Use that water because it doesn’t get much more pure.well they got a 35 pint one
A 35 pint will work inside that size tent. Outside the tent and you’ll want at least a 50 or 70 pint. If you go inside the tent it will raise your temps. Probably in the range of 5 - 10 degrees. If you are pumping in ac that might not be an issue.my tent is only a 4x4 but the room it is in is 12x8
I have the Hisense too. A bit larger though.Yep buy biggest one possible. It won't work as hard and you'll dump water less often than with a smaller one. I am in SW. VA WITH HIGH RH. MY 32 PINT WORKS JUST FINE. about 24-36 hr. Capacity lately. Mine's in a 15 x17 basement room with only a bi-fold door separating it from the rest of the basement. Get digital one that you can set rh level that you want. Some, like mine, have a drain tube that you can use with a basement drain. No dumping, that would be nice. Mine was approx. $169 at Lowes. Hisense brand. Very happy with it.
That one you listed looks good except for the size/capacity. It has the option to set your rh level, therefore you don't even use the timer. Set it and rh issues solved. Just empty once a day or so.Yep buy biggest one possible. It won't work as hard and you'll dump water less often than with a smaller one. I am in SW. VA WITH HIGH RH. X2 with pushrod monkey. Humidifier can go inside tent, dehumidifier goes outside tent. Otherwise it screws up your heat. That one you listed looks good except for the size/capacity. Not necessarily. You need good ac supply going in though. Having said that ideally the dehumidifier should be outside, but it needs the capacity for the task at hand. What the OP posted ain’t gonna cut it outside the tent.X2 with pushrod monkey. Humidifier can go inside tent, dehumidifier goes outside tent. Otherwise it screws up your heat.
There is ac in the room the tent is in and I wasn't looking to put it in the tent but the room the tent is inNot necessarily. You need good ac supply going in though. How long it takes to need to empty the reservoir?I run a 70 pint in a 4 x 8 space. You will need something bigger than a 22 pint in that size room. You’ll be dumping the collection reservoir a few times a day otherwise unless you run a pump out of it.
