Yea man this is definitely not something you wanna be spraying neem and copper on. Id be willing to bet this is a nutrient deficiency. Possibly sulfur an manganese. Maybe other things as well. Best of luck my dude

Clawing tips and tacoing both going on. I think the lazy answer is too much light on top and too much water on bottom.

Thanks, but the amount of confused, confusing, and contradictory opinions/information is overwhelming. Copper was not asked about for nutrition. Nutrients I'm using are prepared specifically for cannabis. I can easily avoid spray on buds, so consuming whatever I might spray isn't an issue. Distance from lighting is going to be a problem soon b/c of the height limitations of the closet, but I'm sure that is not the cause of the present issue. They don't suffer from too much water on the bottom. it never stays wet in the trays. I still think fungus. Hence my question about copper spray. no bugs present except for soil gnats, and they are under control and diminishing in number.

It isnt fungus brotha. Its nutrients. Thats why i said earlier, dont spray your plant. Youd see other signs if it were fungus. Look at the chart @Galgrows posted and you will see what youre missing. Potassium, zinc, magnesium, manganese.... all look similar to your issue.

Again, this aint fungus.

Sorry. I didn't catch that on the first pass. I forgot that it can be used for pest control. Copper is also a semi-mobile nutrient.

It can be difficult to diagnose what's wrong when there are multiple problems, and it looks like your plant has multiple problems. In that case, it's best to work on them one at a time.

Reading the labels is certainly important, but it's not as important as reading the plants.

Hello,

Nutrient deficiency or environmental stress

I'm curious what "perfect nutrition" is.

I'm not sure if you have spent much time researching how to grow but I can assure you the last thing you want to do to a flowering plant is spray anything on it (I don't even spray water). There is no way I would even begin to guess why she has nutrient lock based on that choice.

fyi,

During the flowering stage, it's normal for cannabis plants to draw nutrients from older leaves to support flower growth. As a result, the older leaves may turn yellow, dry out, or even die off. This is part of the plant's natural cycle. However, if the leaves are dying off too early or too quickly, it could indicate a nutrient deficiency or environmental stress.

Good luck!

So how much of this are you feeding and how often?

I understand the nutrients say theyre "for cannabis", but different genetics want different things and different plants absorb nutrients at different rates. Even if 2 plants came from the same exact batch of seeds, they will have different characteristics.

Following the label isnt always the absolute 100% accurate method. Listen to your plant. This time, it looks like shes saying "im hungry"

Soil is foxfarm happy frog. I feed each plant until there's a decent runoff, maybe 20% of the total amount fed. For the smaller plant, yesterday was 900 ml. the two bigger ones took 1600 ml. feeding probably twice a week, but sometimes they need an extra dose.

So I re read the entire thread & sorry I read this wrong I thought you were told it’s fungi
Now I understand it’s really common for new growers to think the worst & follow badly written manufacturers light distances.
Let’s start again

I don’t think you have fungus 100%
I don’t say 100% often however on this i am that sure.

You’ve more than one issue & that’s hard for you to fully understand et all

Firstly I want to emphasise how what we call incorrect watering can affect a plant it.
Too much to often & you’ll stunt the plant on the other hand if you let it dry out to much it’s littery drinking raw nutes & when you feed it when it’s to dry it makes the condition worse.

Secondly light is a major factor in a plant’s health to little & you’ll get slow growth , a stretchy plant with airy buds to close & your gonna bleach the leaves & stress out the plant.

Both these combined will have a diverse effect

Ok so your using very strong nutes.
Are they a synthetic mix in a bottle have you a link are you following a chart
How often are you feeding

If you Listen to these folk you can get your plant back to good health however firstly you need to dim your light to at least 75% led lights are to intense for cannabis & raise them to 24”-38” away

Yellowing Leaves (Bottom Up)

  • Possible Causes:
    • Nitrogen Deficiency: During flowering, cannabis plants still need some nitrogen, especially in the early stages. If the plant is running low on nitrogen, older leaves will start to yellow, often from the bottom up.
    • Nutrient Imbalance: If you're using a bloom formula, it may be low in nitrogen. If the plant hasn't had a good amount of nitrogen in its previous feeding, the deficiency may show up now.
  • Solution: If you're using a bloom-specific nutrient formula, consider supplementing with a small amount of nitrogen or a balanced nutrient mix during early flowering.

Dripping Tips on New Growth

  • Possible Causes:
    • Overwatering: Excessive water can lead to nutrient lockout and root issues, causing new growth to appear deformed with water-saturated tips.
    • Nutrient Burn: If you're using a concentrated nutrient solution (such as 10 mL/L), it might be too much, especially for a plant in the early flowering stage. Nutrient burn can cause the tips of leaves to drip, curl, or turn brown.
  • Solution: Ensure that the nutrient strength is appropriate for the plant's current stage. It might be beneficial to dilute the solution a bit and check if the dripping subsides.

Purple Stems

  • Possible Causes:
    • Cold Stress: Purple stems can sometimes indicate cold stress, especially during nighttime temperatures. Cannabis plants prefer temperatures between 65–80°F (18–27°C).
    • Phosphorus Deficiency: Purple stems can also be a sign of phosphorus deficiency, although it's more common for the leaves to show this symptom.
  • Solution: Check the temperature to make sure it’s not too low, and if it’s within range, consider checking the phosphorus levels in the nutrient solution.

General Advice:

  • Check Nutrient Levels: Since it's early in the flowering stage, the plant needs the right balance of nutrients. Make sure you’re using the right bloom formula that still contains sufficient levels of nitrogen, potassium, and phosphorus.
  • Dilute the Solution: If you're using 10 mL/L and the plant is showing signs of nutrient burn (like dripping tips), you might want to reduce the concentration to 5-7 mL/L, or follow the manufacturer's recommendations more closely.
  • Watering Practices: Ensure proper drainage and avoid overwatering, as this can exacerbate nutrient imbalances.
  • Ditch the plastic pots and get fabric if you want to use soil.
  • Using organic fertilizers in soil is a good strategy to minimize the risk of salt buildup

Those numbers are very high to high for cannabis really.

Even experienced growers would have problems getting used to its strength.

I think your nutes are the cause of your problems & should maybe buy a bloom fert what your using has to much n for start.
I can see curling from excess n & its got to much k

The to much n & the very high k I think has created a nute inbalnce.

It’s even possible you’ve locked the nutes out

Switch another fert the one you have is no good for flowering it’s to high in all numbers & has to much n/k

You can’t feed it the food your feeding it already has to much n & the excess k isn’t helping.

I believe what you’re brought is marked for cannabis however it’s for use outdoor either way as said you numbers are all wrong

You need to buy a indoor bloom fert
You don’t need to go all out & buy expensive boosters a simple cheep bottle of bloom will get you over the line.

Look for something with a lot lower numbers & low n you’ve got enough n in the plant to see it to harvest

i changed nothing except raising lights. Things look great, so thanks for all the suggestions that contradicted each other. Nutrients are fine, leaves are fine, results are stinky and a month from harvest

So youre saying it ISNT a disease and you DIDNT need to spray it with copper and neem? So you were wrong? So people here helped you? Interesting..... not sure why you have to fire shots at a bunch of people who just saved your plant from your extremely stupid decisions. But glad to see the plant survived its owner. Good job.

Not exactly. I sprayed copper on the affected leaves. Whether it helped or not, I don't know, as the leaves were pretty bad before spraying and they brittlled and died. I don't understand how the advice I got "saved" the plants. No real arguments, though, except for the critics of the fertilizer. I've used it through two harvests with no issues. It's excellent
