First time going hydro.

Strain is Barneys Farm Tangerine Dream.... included is a pic of my last run with this strain, that was in soil with no CO2.

As far as nutes I am using GH micro and bloom, lucas. Also added a bit of calmag.

Currently got them under 18/6, shooting for 2 week veg but we will see, might cut it down to a week because this strain loves to stretch. The table is set up for a screen when its time.

I got a good deal on SunPulse 1000w bulbs, so Im using the 5.6 or 5.8k right now on a Lumatek 1000. Going to switch to Digilux and just keep the Sunpulses around for backups and for their 10k bulb.

Any questions please ask.

Fan, ducting, and carbon filter are all coming soon, along with a Nutridrip tri-meter, so I can hopefully narrow down any problems I know I will have lol

I would hate to see that system bust and get water all over that nice ass carpet. Good start though.

Also working on building a little box to put everything in, just incase. Im keeping the total res under 20 gallons for now incase that does happen.

I know a good carpet guy so Im not worried to much.

Probally going to order an 8in fan tonight, I want to be able to keep the door to the room shut and not worry about temps, cant currently do that :(

Went and picked up a meter today... the picture with the lights on is what it was as soon as I dropped the meter in the res...

And the picture with lights off was after I added 3 gallons of water to try and get the PPM down... I feel like its way to high, is 600 a good place to start em at?

Nice meter. I just caution cause I've had a system bust all over my carpet. And I'm not talking about someone banging my girl. Can't wait to see your chica's in a few weeks.

Thanks man. The carpet is a concern and will be dealt with as soon as I can raise the light just a bit.

Any idea on some target PPM's?

After some messy around I was able to get it down some more. Came home to find out my digital 220v timer I got is either to smart for me or broken :(. Its got a little box that says "+1h" which I can only assume means one hour, cant figure out how to get rid of it, guess Ill have to set it and an hour off to make up for it ;(

I own a couple of those nutradip tri meters as well. They are great. I recalibrate mine after every run and always make sure the PH probe is clean and free of buildup to ensure you get a proper reading. Good luck!

I aim for 600ppm when vegging and my plants love it. Flowering... it varies from plant to plant, but I try to keep it under 1200 unless my plants look like they need it. I never use those electronic timers. I'm to dumb for them.
