Yellow leaves brown spots

Have two plants about 3rd week vege and are yellowing to the point leaves can fall off I have removed all severely yellow leaves, the ph for healthier plant is 5.5 and the sicker plant 6.1 wondering if I could be a cmx deficiency or perhaps phosphorus or nitrogen any help much appreciated

I also do not have the best drainage could that be it? Moving them into bigger pot this week with more perlite

Yellow leaves that come off easily usually point to nitrogen deficiency.

Can you give some info on your grow like soils and nutrients used. It looks to me like it's over watering. You have drooping leaves but not stems and yellowing showing a nitrogen deficiency.

With over watering it will create an environment that starves the roots of oxygen in turn shutting down nutrient uptake. I also think it possible that they need more nutrients but until you let the soil dry out it's hard to tell.

Another concern which hopefully you can address is the soil makeup. Its quite possible poor drainage is the issue.

Do those buckets have drainage holes?

Thanks for the reply, yeah they have holes at the bottom and sides however yeah i think that since the perlite to coco ratio isnt right it has poor drainage, if nitrogen deffiency is present will adding nutes fix this? or do i have to add just nitrogen? I though over watering might b the case and i let them dry for a few days but gave them both about 1.5L today im just using coco A and B from nutrifield, i haven't been feeding full strength but fed close to full strength today am planning to switch to bigger pots with a high perlite to coco ratio. thinking will let them dry out until then

If I had to guess I would say they have been consistently over watered. So I would wait until the pots are alarmingly light and pay attention to new growth. I can tag some soil guys for ya that can more than likely get it sorted for ya.

Well they look terribly overwatered or over fertilized or both but i dont know coco so i dont know how to advise.

Ok, a few questions.

What brand of coco are you using?

Was it washed and buffered before you used it?

What is the strength of the nutrient solution?

How often are you feeding?

What is the day/night temp & humidity of your grow space?

I think I may know what’s wrong but I need more info to be sure.

Hi thanks for the reply, using canna coco was washed but unsure about buffered what is buffering is that with like a cmx product? Ive been feeding the recommended nutrifield seedling/ cutting strength for coco a and b the temp is constant sometimes reaching 27 °C during day but staying around 20-22 °C at night unsure about the humidity but as the vent in comes from outside where we have relatively high humidity have never known to have a problem with it. I think the purple stalks may happened before the temperature was stable. Looking today they look less droopy and pointing towards the light.

This plant looks like it’s a little older to me than 3rd week veg, even from clone. I think you should increase the nutrients. She looks hungry. The canna coco should be fine. If the humidity is too high, that will also contribute to the loss of turgidity.

Yeah they probably are they were monster cropped so been a long process bout 3-4 weeks since they started growing decent growth, thanks ill step the nutes up a little next feed.
