Yellowing that I can’t Diagnose😒

Hey guys!

So this one Blueberry Muffin from HSC has been nothing but trouble for me!

Wispy little shoots and the most sensitive plant I’ve ever had!

Anyways…

It got cold early on, and since then has looked like crap!

It’s been like two weeks since then, and I gave it some cal mag in hopes that it was a mag deficiency, but I don’t think so ha ha.

I think we all have one of those from time to time, so sensitive to everything you dont even know what to do. At what distance is the light and what model? Maybe she is more sensitive to light, or watering, do you lift the pots to know when to water? I have some slow drinkers aswell from time to time.

They’re in autopots and weaved into a trellis net, but the stems are also still growing purple!

I thought it was purple from the cold but maybe not!

I sprayed with Epsom salt just in case it WAS magnesium.

The light is at like 650-700 PPFD from a 320w Mars hydro bar style light.

I dont even bother with purple stems anymore, they can mean so many things and most of the times its just genetics or night temp difference but yes sometimes it could be an indicator the problem is that it can mean so many things that it can be missguiding aswell. With the info you gave me I would assume that plant is more sensitive to nutes or more hungry, the yellow tips and edges make me thing too much potassium, which can lock out magnessium, so you did well doing a foliar feed but dont expect it to regain the green, only the new growth will come out green if the problem is fixed.

How's your soil, drain well? Can be root lock by that or compressed soil in the roots, low root O2...
Nitro deficiency is part of that. Idk light sounds fine but honestly if your temps are ok try 850.
Probably run root booster mid veg and mid to late flower.
Could add pee to the water at a low concentration.

When I grew it a couple of years ago, outdoors it was pretty persnickety also!

So.

These strains that have been backcrossed 10 times or line bred to F8 generations…

Prepare yourself ha ha ha.

Yes, they’re more uniform and predictable, but just as it concentrates the good…it concentrates the bad/annoying ha ha.

You look at them wrong and they yellow.

Everything has to be dialed TO THAT PLANT to the letter.

Like purebred dogs vs mutts….purebreds get allergies from stepping outside ha ha.

My point is this…don’t foolishly think that super uniform and extra stable means they’ll just grow with less problems like I did ha ha

One is the mutt and one is the purebred ha ha.

I definitely need to think this through better running a SCROG next run!

If I wanted these headaches, I’d grow some landrace sativa or something!

The Dream Queen looks great, but these Blueberry Muffins are just the most SENSITIVE little b!tches!

Look at them wrong and they fall apart!

Week 3 flower started yesterday.

BUT for all the headaches, I really learned how this SCROG works, and absolutely LOVE it for tent growing!!!! It’s truly the best/easiest way to maximize the space/yield/quality.
