I read a couple people regretting not adjusting their chiller so it didn't short cycle. Well, me too I guess. How do I not do that?

I read a couple people regretting not adjusting their chiller so it didn't short cycle. Well, me too I guess. How do I not do that?

It's when the chiller kicks on and runs for only a few seconds, or at most a minute. You want it to run for awhile. The way to do that is to spread your minimum and maximum setpoints further apart. I run my Chillking at 51 with an 8 degree rise.
