Left IL as soon as I could. What amazes me is how many people think moving more than an hour away from where you grew up is just a batshit crazy idea. Nobody seems to get that when I say it's majestic out here. ...it really is.

Southern IL is pretty damn nice in terms of scenery, just full of people I don't particularly agree with on any aspect of life and no jobs for me.

Yea, Illinois has pretty bad political/social air. Grew up in the country, made my way to Chicago for a few years.... done with it all. Majesty is the perfect word for whats missing in Illinois. I can't help but feel more clear headed and just... sane out here.

Ima stop and make you take me to some of those fishin holes next time I pass through over there :-)

You know your from Colorado if.... you instinctively avoid the weed tourist driving up the hill from Denver in the middle lane with his right hand blinker stuck on and doing about 40 in a 65 lol
