Thanks.

You spray your CA25 with HID's off I assume?
Great Question..Im scared to spray anything with the lights on..
Im gonna go spray out in the GH right now cause its early and its been a week:)

Thanks Cap :)

The only reason I might not spray with lights on is due to the chance of getting mist on the bulbs. Is that why you're scared, Ken? Otherwise, I've done lots and lots of spraying both in full sunlight and under HIDs.

Im careful not to get oils on my bulbs..But no.
I worry the plants might get burned .
it just seems like oil like neem might intensify the light and burn the leaveso_O
..I heard or read something like that somewhere im sure.

Your saying I dont have to worry about it?

Neem, yeah, I'd be careful. I'm careful with anything that's not supposed to be used in full sunlight, that's what I use to make the decision. Neem can cause phyto/phototoxicity.

But most anything else? Seaweed foliar, JMS Stylet, the Sea-90 I mentioned, milk--doesn't matter, can be applied in full direct sunlight, and so it's perfectly safe to apply under HIDs IMO/IME, too. Obviously, I haven't used everything there is out there as a foliar, but I have used quite a few things over the years.

Good to know! Thanks Sea :)

Insect Frass, Fulvex, & some saturator

ACT - molasses, EWC, Caps, & sometimes I"ll add in alfalfa, humic, fish logic or kelp (depending on the girls needs/wants), then a Spike of Sea Green at the end.

Ca25 (love this stuff!)

Sea Green

All as I see fit except I'm religious about the tea with Caps 1x week

I might have overlooked this but have people shared their ppm and ph for foliar and temp?

I have successfully sprayed tea and Ca25 (not together), with lots of lights on (4k on each plant). No burns. humidity foes up some though. :) I do like to do it with just one light on though... it makes it easier to see and less likely to burn my face.

Cap don't you use bare bulbs? I always foliar lights off and remove the bulbs and cover the sockets. I had a bulb light that was wet as it explodes (I think it was wet at least, room was humid and I can't think of another reason it would just burst), luckily this was when I was setting up and no plants were in there. I have been extremely careful with bare bulbs and water since then

That sux bad I'm glad no one was hurt how did you dispose of the mercury or broken electrode?

Yea I wasnt in the room luckily, just heard a loud pop and the light was out glass thrown across the room. The glass that melted into the panda film was kind of cool...

The dump near me has certain days for "hazardous" materials, bulbs, paint, pesticides, things your not supposed to put in the trash, so I just took the remains there. I usually do that with all my dead bulbs

I do use bare bulbs. My father used to tell me "do as I say, not as I do" LOL,.

If you have bare bulbs you must be careful. I spray a very fine mist and stay close to the plants.

He recommended moab foliars which I will definitely try this next round. He seemed to pop this in several times.

exactly. I was trying to figure out what thread that was in. Do you remember?

He would just randomly drop hints and say "hehe," but Id say in the dirty little box thread. Im building a sun48 2 level t5 on a flip setup so I can pop seeds and flower under t5 for small scale testing without wasting main room space and plenty of personal smoke. RIP DWB
