While we are on this topic , I am also new to growing and might have jumped the gun a bit when ordering my seeds. Did a lot of research on setting up my growspace , but due to my location , orders takes months to reach me so I went ahead and ordered some Autos from MSNL with the idea that once my grow space was finished and cycled id have my beanz and I can start. it does seem like I chose the holy grail of growing though...aka Aquaponics...

My setup so far...

https://www.thcfarmer.com/community...c-grow-cab-and-bio-filter.97321/#post-2153164

The strains that I chose is the following : Auto GDP , Magnum Auto , Mango Auto , White LSD Auto and Auto Lemon OG(freebies).

I have seen some newbies grow the above on growdiaries dot com with pretty good success with these strains and will use their diaries as guidelines. Copy paste grow and results should be the same... but with it being aquaponics I dont think the copy paste method will work that well. Trial and error I suppose... And only time will tell , question is will I understand the language that time tells ?! :)

Anybody with XP with the above strains , please let me know which ones to start off with and which ones to bank for later grows...

Also find a strain with stable genetics that clones well if you're that way inclined

Yeah , thats gonna have to wait a bit till my next order.... cant clone autos from what I read.... I will use autos to dial in the symbiotic relationship between them fishies and ladies and gain some better experience with growing , then look for a stable strain that I like that can be easily cloned.

Okie doke i see your point of view I guess. Are those pure jack or a cross ?? I also say i guess because when I started growing autos where still very weak ; so I've never grown any I have a 3 pack of haze auto comeing from OA just to see what the hype is about.

Hard to say if the Jack is Pure...I havent actually seen my mates grows yet . The high definitely didnt feel like a cross.Pure uplifting chatty strain. and the noodle just keeps on thinking of brilliant ideas! Some of the autos seems to be beefed up nowadays. I am really looking forward to the Magnum. MSNL says its one of the strongest autos up to date , THC content between 19-22%

For the beginner, the first question that appears in mind is, ‘how to benefit more?’ Because the number of plants that you can grow is small, you will have to know more about which strain will save you more. To help you in making this decision, you can select from the following high-yielding cannabis plants.

-Do-Si-Dos
-Northern Lights
-Gorilla Glue
-Blue Dream
-Big Bud

According to my experience, these strains are best for who grow the first time. Be it for medical purpose, or recreate, a prior consultation with a medical marijuana doctor would always be beneficial. He would recommend to you the best strains that could be beneficial for your well-being. Keep Growing and stay happy!

Thanks bro. I will keep all these in mind. The NL , GG , and BD was some of my first picks , but decided to change to autos . When I start with photos they will be at the top of my list.

Another question guys...do you think it better to grow 3 plants of the same genes , or 3 different genes , one plant each?

I'd say 3 of the same just for a more uniform canopy when they get bigger

looking good dude.looks like she might have a nice yield. check out growdiaries dot com and search for the same strains you growing , under the same conditions , thatll give you a good idea of what to expect

I see what your saying dude ; IMO your plants look great .just seems like your telling more about your grow than educating the guy about strains .

I do plan on doing a scrog grow due to my height limitations , so the different canopies should more or less be the same i think. only reason I wana grow 3 different strains is to have a variety to choose from when I toke. I dont plan on selling and growing purely only for myself , but as a first grow , probably would be easier to do 3 of the same , incase there is problems , itll be a uniform solution
