Hi peeps. I came across these signs a few days ago and I will be flipping to flower tomorrow. I’m not too concerned on what it could be, just curious to know!

Ya coco you’ll always need to add cal/Mag sulfer is good too. Helps your plant get access to other nutrients. Most people have magnesium deficiency and cal/Mag fixes it. Try this though and 1tsp epsom salt to your coco when you mix it. Feed for 6 weeks with cal/Mag and half strength nutes. Make sure to add some sort of soil booster. Compost teas are good too. This all before you put your babies in a bed of that super coco. You won’t see any deficiencies. I do a epsom root feed at 3 and 6 weeks and Foliar all through

If you feed or water to run off you’d have to adjust this but I don’t and have no issues. I even tested up to 4000!ppm till showing signed of burn. Now I know my limit so my next grow will be dial in complete

I’ve always added cal/mag, and NPK mixes. Just recently upped the EC to 1200 ppms. I thought that’ll be too strong. I also added Earth dust. This is my first grow I haven’t had major problems. But will be flipping to flower tomorrow. Don’t want to come across the switch problem lol compost teas and Epson salt, I’d definitely look into that!

4000 ppm? And I was worried with 1200 hahah

Don’t start counting your days until you first see flowers. Takes about 10-14 days most people count wrong

Do the Epsom feeding at 1 Tbsp/Gal at first sign of flowers and again week 6. That’s all they need besides your food

@mancorn It works for me. It worked for gardeners and farmers for hundred of years. Didn’t realized you were an expert

EC value is the salt concentration in your substrate or in the nutrient solution. It’s a meaningless metric for organics.

Do some research epsom salt is mineralized magnesium and sulfer both good for plants and specifically marijuana. All chemical and organic fertilizer is salt based. There’s good salt and bad salt just like opinions. I’ll stick with what works

Golly I never heard about ES, thanks for the lesson! Oh wait, I didn’t say jack shit about ES, but commented on your assertion to the OP (who uses synthetics) that a 4000 ppm was acceptable. But hey you can read about EC/ppm and non relevance in organics on the interweb in ten minutes and double your growing knowledge.

I was thinking on still using the same feedings that I use now but add some bloom nutes right when I flip. And will be decreasing veg nutes with time. Sounds about right?

Person were referring to their personal use with organic and being up to 4000 ppm, didn’t recommend me to do so as well.
