Funny enough, I was thinking about this very idea yesterday when I was deciding which strains to run next under a scrog. I was thinking of building two 2x2 foot scrog's w/bamboo, and just tie them together with bendy ties until you wanna seperate them when harvesting. One strain finishes at 10 weeks, another at 12? No problem, just harvest one, seperate it with its scrog, and let the other one finish. Im gonna do this next grow so stay tuned to see how it pans out.
Right? 4 mini bamboo scrogs in a 4x4, ready to be whatever height needed and also ready to be chopped at base and flipped upside down for individual cure/dry. The bamboo is straight genius. Check this out. I bought a bag of zip ties for maybe 10-15 years ago to hide all the cords behind my desk. It has a bunch of different sizes. That green plant twine is a a bitch to cut and manipulate I have found. The wire inside and the rubber outside it don't always get along. Enter, baby bamboo meets baby zip ties 😮🙏💪what kinda time we lookin at savin to just be able to align then zip zip zip

haha a sea of fat colas, High Times is callin! lmfao. I always loved High Times mag, especially when weed was illegal.
And yeah dude, I have some dyna gro organic neem oil comin, when it arrives Im gonna just hand water in a bit of it mixed with h202, let it sit for a few hours, then water till runoff with my ferts. I will repeat for a couple days, tracking the gnat population with fresh sticky cards. If that doesnt work, I will go nuclear and deploy the mosquito killer the same way, and hopefully rid them for good. We got 10-11 weeks of flower comin and I'll be damned if these little bastards are gonna mess that up for me lol. I think I heard one of em is speaking russian, its fkn on!! I will tolerate no Spetsnaz fungus gnat units within my perimeter.
Oooo you heard some war crime talk from the tent eh? You feel the fungis might be mocking you? Enter, THE UV LIGHT! KABOOM! 🤣 No fkin idea if this works bro but might it? Or may it? I just got this in the mail and have been lookin into UV. I wonder if these can be used during lights out to see pests

Just don’t use it near a mirror lol. Is that one of those crazy infomercial flashlights?

Lmfao yeah bro i think they are retreating, much less fungus gnats in the traps ever since the fan. Ive decided to hold off on any other counter attacks as i think they might be in full retreat as i have a lot less of them in my sticky traps. I think the fan, traps and my verbal discouragement told them off. Meanwhile, my Super Lemon haze is off to the races! She is gonna be the PERFECT specimen for this 300 watt spider farmer light.
And as for the bamboo mini scrogs, i was thinking a two part for a 4x4 as i think 2 plants is max for me in a 4x4, anything more belongs in a 5x5 for true glorious flowering action lol. But you can totally do 4 mini's and it would work fine, just gonna be a more complicated bamboo setup, but its bamboo so its not that hard lol. Btw, use these for tying bamboo scrog together its THE BEST cuz it grips but moves. I use a fk ton of these bendy ties lol. These are the Growers Edge 5mm ties, the best imo cuz they thic lol.
Growers Edge Soft Garden Plant Tie 5 mm - 50 ft, Green

I am def gonna get some sort of uv light filter for my room. Probably gonna go with something like the proguard DXB mini is slightly overkill, but i like overkill:

Here is the lovely lady a couple days into flowering. Looking like LOTS if fresh colas poking through, going for at least one cola per square. Tried to get the canopy square but a curcle will do lol.

And Im not sure if that would mess with the photoperiod so definitely read up on that before experimenting. I think a green light is supposed to not mess with them at night?

~"adds wind force to list of IPM tools" *coughs coughs* 🤣 Great work there. Make the gnats have to work so hard they give up. Yeah you are right I'm sure about less baby bamboo scrogs but would look pretty mint with a couple or few of them I bet. Don't see how else you could not lose that wicked advantage of being able to flip entire plant and still have more than 1. Your Haze is proof you don't need more plants at all. I can't wait to grow a plant or 2 in the tent alone some day. 4 in one and 3-8 in the other right now is going to push me to the limit I bet. Hoping a bit of automated watering is going to free me up a bit.
I have that green 5mm garden twine as well. Its awesome. As for the UV light I got, lol everyone seems to be going a bit cray. I got it for pet urine stains cause we had a foster dog for a bit and to check for scorpion in back yard. UV lights are wicked good for plants but yes of course not while lights off. I didn't use it to look at the plants only the pots at the bottom and it was right when lights went out. They make pests glow but I don't have any atm knock on wood. I bet you have looked into the UV light a bit and how much they love it during flower huh? omg at that link you posted uhh yeah that is overkill x the max I would think. Why wouldn't ya just grab the one HLG makes? Might not be the best for the money but least you know what you gettin

Wassup y'all! Here on a Sunday puffin Volcano clouds and mirin the girls. The super lemon haze is growing FASSST and bushay, just the way I like em lol. The light green growth i think signifies she is firing on all cylinders and getting her flower mode on! Ever since i tried a lemon haze cut last summer i have been craving it, so hopefully this girl makes it through flower. Gonna be almost a 3 month flower so im still keeping hyper-watch for fungus gnats. Defenitely seeing lots less gnats caught in my sticky traps, hopefully i nipped that in the gnat ;). This is the beginning of week 2 of flower for this girl, only 10 or 11 weeks to go rofl.

Wats up man, been hella busy so its been a while. You are right, trying to make rheir environment too inhospitable so they leave or die off. So far i think its working...we shall see. Yeah dude mini bamboo scrogs sound like the new craze, soo many customizations. Hell, i could even make a scrog with bamboo in the shape of a moustache, dragon, anything really lol. Yeah dude 1 plant per tent is cool so far, it gets ALL the space and attention. Upping plant count is for sure alot of work so i bet your jumping around a bit takin care of your plants lol. So cool though, growing is legit fun af. Ive looked at uv for sure but since im in the grow room alot i dont wanna use it for now. But in the future...most def. If i was to get one id get the hlg cyz yeah they are legit brand. Hope all is well homie, gonna catch up on your posts throughout the day. Stay lifted!

If I can keep my clone alive for 8-10 weeks I’ll be scrogging for the first time. Just need to figure out how to give it enough light once roots grow. If they grow. And put it on 18-6.
Lol man you should be able to pull it off, its just a bunch of tucking. Amazing how the branches and sruff always find a way through the scrog, no matter how messed up they look lol. Get your scrog on man! Yyeah!
