Your little gecko friend is good luck for you- and bad for any little nasties wanting a taste of your nugs!

sweet :) wasn't sure what he was but he was fast! could also stick to the windows! not sure where he is now though :( That plant is growing ridiculous. Absolutely mental really. She is definitely flowering now, and has spread out about 1.5 metres! and reaching over the top of my chilli and other plants. I'm going to have to dig a hole and secure these monstrosities of branches! She is plenty big enough to throw a lb out i believe and more than enough tops on her to keep us happy till the cows come home ;) The indoor is slowly adjusting and only JUST has shows signs of healthy roots, my mate had given her to me and poked her too far down the hole and nearly had root rot, hadn't squeezed the cube block so it was still solid as a rock :( I fixed things, got it going, but its a late start, just working out my growing time now pretty much writing days down and given flowering time. I'm more keen on this outdoor anyway!!! she is POOOOOOOOONGING!!!! a few days and i'll see frost i'm positive :)

new thread for the outdoor or keep this on the 1?? I guess it would be cool to continue this if there are some followers?? I mean indoor is coming along but for the time being why not eh?

Good to come back nice job Flowa i like that outdoor plant really bushy and a lot of clones on it :p :) Nice shots of the gecko :p I hope your okay with the heat heard about 50 on C
Thanx Pav :)

You wanna see some more?? :p

LOL :) yea Pav! she's getting scarily big! tying her down is one thing i should of done a bit earlier... but THIS was unexpected! still has a bit of a stretch to go i imagine, not much but a bit, i had to literally snap a few centre branches so they wouldn't reach fence height. I tried digging a hole... well i succeeded but the dirt is miserably rocky and solid and when i give her a good drenching (not every watering, just once a week) that hole will just flood :( the plant is too heavy to move in and out of a hole...??? i could i suppose dig another hole down the line and that can act as a double drain so it can leach the water from the other with a bit of simple pipe or something. She's still getting her now and then dose of hydro formula, just some potash, and bloom base A+B and silica to help strengthen the already stocky and firm branches. But i think they will need extra support, unless i go snapping them all which i couldn't do to plant this size i just wouldn't. Should i feed a bit lighter?? do you think i'm growing her to fast Pav, or anyone?? can you push an outdoor to fast?
wish i could rep the guy who answers :)

Hi bro and thanks for the question in my opinion when it's outdoor it depends of the factors like climate and light shedule. I think that you want her to flower fast and harvest early. You can do something like shelter to cover her with black sheet of cloth or other material, it will be good the base of the shelter to be lighter and easly moved. I would start to cover her every other day 30 mins earlier till 12/12 regime and hold like that. Better support her with wood sticks than snapping, cuz supercrop will make new shoots and she will be bigger monster than that..lol. I usually use some garden wire and wood sticks to keep low profile outdoors and to help the branches to support the colas. About the nutes I can't say exactly cuz i use Biobizz bloom for flowering and homemade organic tea of nettle, cow and horse manure tea and fish tea, which have very impressive results. About the hole it's genius idea to use pipe and the water to go to other hole or in garden. If you don't want to do that why not use pickaxe to broke the rocks. :)
I hope you understand me if no i will try to explain again sorry for punctuation mistakes :D I just smoke some Ghs A.M.S. and fill like flying :D ... lol I'm out !

Thankx Pav! i will be supporting her soon enough, her height has come to a rest now, and the flowers are starting to build their structure... She is definitely flowering now, so shading her shouldn't be too much of an issue with days getting much shorter now, she is as green as i think i need her for now :) so i'm helping her with some chicken poop and some potash and still see no signs of nute burn!! She wants more i know it.... i'll wait till next week if she looks tired i'll dose her with some base and get her into gear! i have plent of time to flower this girl out so i won't need to cut her short thankfully! she will get ripe, smelly and plenty mature!

pics!!

oh, and in the woodworks ;) just started showing life

day 4 veg... We have a trial of Amsterdam Gold X with an unknown hybrid (something like northern lights in flavour if you ask me, but that was when i grew this cut outside.) I've been through hell with this clone, given to me half dead, the strain would of been lost so i'm her sole survivalist and may just clone her for a headstart for next time or just grow a small 3 week veged plant.? with a clone aswell.... thoughts? The strain is viable, and extremely potent BUT grown under the right conditions. and hard to manage because bugs seem to LOOOOOOOOOOVE it. But the resin content is hard to contend with and most bugs don't make it past the leaves as they get stuck there and then. When i grew the indoor cut outside i creamed my pants shall i say lol!! my mrs and i had found a sweet everlasting tasting erb and sugar content to match an iced doughnut..... Lets see what i can do. I'm using Dutch Masters Gold Range A+B grow, + B1 boost, silica from cyco and floralicious from general hydropinics. Mixing it up or What!!!? why not eh? i got freebie stuff all over the place and its time to start testing, and producing some different quality again ;)

The new indoor will be interesting Flowa. I have no doubts in your technique of growing, so i am leaving it all in your girls genetics. Best of luck mate. The old outdoor looks wonderful from the up skirt shot:) Just love it!

Yeah i have seen the indoor grow in a simple similar system like mine but not as accurate climate conditions and always ran into the 35 degree mark celcius... I can easily manage 28-30 degrees in summer maximum so i should gain more potency and possibly a healthier plant due to no stress. I 50/50 trust the genetics i say half/half because i have seen many problems with the original amsterdam gold producing bananas and even seeds towards the end of the flowering cycle, so i'm thinking she's nowhere near the feeder of "Jacks' standards but still a fast bloomer 7-8 weeks and incredible buzz when done right :) very psychedelic with huge head buzz appeal, and a smell that is extremely strong, unique and very consistent. My 'teacher said don't bother as its too much work' but i'm not lazy..... when it comes to growing that is ;) She's a slow starter but looking promising now, had to eradicate spider mite while she was trying to grow roots ( a 2nd time of rooting with the exact same clone!! ) this whole time being THE LAST CUT of this. I have been told the strain is FINISHED and 'HAD ITS DAY' Can Flowa turn this around? A long story of how this x cut came to be, but lets just say its the last of anything with Amsterdam Gold in it that i know of around here for now! I have lots of faith in her. The weather is doing great! I've been fairly unwell but the weather keeps me smiling from ear to ear! especially when i go outside to see my Green Monster! :p

Oooooohhhhhh i envy my monster outside!! so glad i can flower her out :) SOooooOooOOooooo Happy!!!!! Did she not explode or what!? i should do a small timeline eh? only around 4 months old and! Glad you like the upskirt! It clearly shows the re-veg stage :) I have trimmed most of the old growth off as it dried up and died and basically just attracted insects, but NOW!!! she's clean of most pests gets the odd chili spray! oh yeah, made some chili sauce and nearly 'jizzed in my pantz' :p

I used 2 cups of Hot Thai Chilis. (with all the seeds and chili juice!!)
500 grams sugar, 2 cups of water.. i think!!??
100ml of lime juice
2 table spoons of mixed dry perppercorns but cracked.
1 cup of vinegar (white)
1 red bell pepper (hot)
Some cornflour mixed with hot water for extra thickening without lumps and to help suspend the chili bits and seeds. I just boiled everything up, the chilis and pepper were chopped in a weed chopper ( olide but a goodie :p )
Oh also added 1/2 cup of BROWN sugar for added sweetness and to give that GREAT Jam consistency.

I got pics, i just gotta sort them out and i'll upload to help you feast you eyes :) My first EVER home made sweet BUT HOT chili Jam!!!

yuuuuuuuuuuum.
I got so much chili sauce, i spen all day yesterday yelping in pain straining and burning my ring gear lol. Trying hard not to spread some more toast in the delectable delight i've created for the first time!!
As if i won't...... my tummy is rumbling as i type grrrrrrrrrrr. grrrrrrrrrrr

wow thats a beast of a plant bro.killer, should be a huge yeilder for sure.

Thatnx 420 :) Her structure is very similar to my indoor growing, i'm surprised actually, i think she will yield great for her size, i'm guessing around 10oz min maybe lb. She takes up more room than my lounge couch!

Got some pics of my chili sauce mixed up, the seeds do seem to float to the top eventually but its a very nice consistency like thick jam :)

Chili sauce

The end result of the used chilis.. beautiful tasting thai chilies, absolutely the best tasting i've EVER had... This is a likely picture of nearly every meal i've been eating!!

a nice clear moon shot my cam snapped the other night :) only a $250 camera! gets better views than my 10x telescope!

update with my erb is soon to come :) oh and made some sweet ass Ganja Chocolate brownies today!!! better get some pics of them too before i eat them all and pass out!!! ( not likely :p very rich and potent )

here is a shot of the ganja butter before i reheated it with boilibng water and re-washed the remaining chloraphyl and waxes out. The end result with the butter was still greenish, but uch more pleasant on the nose and also contained a whole bunch of cookie grade Hash crumbs :)

A bit more photography at heart for those who appreciate :) I've been hard at work putting shade cloth up and placing stakes to hold the colas up! She has absolutely exploded in growth and is nearly 3 metres wide!!!! The 3m length of shade didn't even make it half way across!!

Lol :) Thanx Pav!! Great advice on spreading her out, i only remembered the other day before she started flowering i topped her about 20 tips i think!! to see her spread out to this size has completely baffled me!! Here i was going for a small bonzai type grow stunting her and snipping, then the re-veg, and now this!? in about 4 months time!? Far out.... when i go outside she freaks me out every time i look at her, I think spreading her out will give the buds more room to breathe because i'm sure they will get a fair bit bigger in time. There is a multitude of ties pulling branches in the right direction, a righteous mess underneath the canopy, but a 'neat' mess meaning no scraggly crap :) this is all clean new growing shoots full of ready to bloom flowers!, some branches will be more than an arms length in buds i'm sure! Again totally unintentional! I mean, where am i going to dry this!? SKUNK!?? already this overwhelms my kitchen area with the smell of near ripe oranges and sweet resin in the air! I haven't seen a single deficiency yet and looking very closely, only a few white flies nothing to really worry about, so the rest of the budding should be sweet fro here on.... thats if i can get her ripe enough without ponging the block out too much.

I've been trying to get a good aerial pic to show her spread but its hard to do with her already tall height. With my wide angle lens i need to be 8feet in the air to fit it in the lens :(

Sweet looking girls you have, digging the spread on them !!

Thanx Zonkerly, you mean the girl ;) just 1 outside I know it looks more, more its just 1. A re-vegged monster. But Thankyou kindly!! The little indoor will spread soon enough, i shall be cloning soon! OOoooohhh nearly forgot bout my Amsterdam Gold! Jk

Hey peoples :) 12 more days for the indoor until flip!!!! not much time in my books, I included some instructional (basic) pics of my cloning method. I cloned the top off her last night, and don't think i'll get another opportunity top do so again, now i need her side branches to come up and show me what she can do!!! It won't be a waste of a clone i'm sure! plus i have cloned her again, and if she shows promising signs i'll keep her for another shot :)

Tools required : new sterile knife!! , cloning gel / powder either is personal choice ofcourse, i get 100% success with gel. 1 rockwool cube per clone. 1 sterile nail to poke hole in PRE-SOAKED AND SQUEEZED SOFT CUBE.

SAM 8621
SAM 8623

here she is in all her glory!!, aside from the heat stress from me forgetting to plug the light-hood fan on! no biggie, she got upto 35 degrees.... a good test for her none the less.

SAM 8628

get the blade ready :) its snippity snip time. I also make small cuts at the base of the stem to help release some vital fluids that will help the root building process along. ( tested and approved by me. )

SAM 8629

we all love to dip it in.............

SAM 8632

then we dip it in..... again.... ahhhhhhh almost sexual. Well we are makin babies here after all.

SAM 8634

notice the leaves i removed at the base, i do this to help the clone by not needing more energy than it requires for growing roots. The larger fans i will snip back so they weigh less and are less stress on the clone and require less misting.
