Alien Genetics Review

Hey everyone, I wanted to write up a overall review of the Alien gear for people who are considering purchasing. I definitely feel I need to give these beans proper credit.

I purchased Tahoe Alien and Alien Rock Candy. Basically, I narrow my genetics down to a "top 3". I have ran hundreds of strains as I am always searching for better and better genetics. I had ran Cali Connection's Alien crosses and Alien Dawg, Sour Aliens, and Alien OG were all in my top three at some point.

Before trying Alien Technology last year, I had a top 3 that had lasted for about a year and a half. Basically, no new genetics were able to knock out my top three in a while.

They were:

Green Crack "Grass Valley" cut
Bubba Kush
Girl Scout Cookies "Forum" cut

Well, I have had the absolute pleasure of running Tahoe Alien and Alien Rock candy 3 times now. They knocked out 2 of the top 3. I can't even start to explain how talented this man is to accomplish this feat. I still can't believe it. The first two I tried BOTH ended up on top. His genetics seem to get better and better every time I run them. Germination was near perfect, zero hermi traits, uniformity, and something I had never seen in my life.......MULTIPLE keepers in one pack. I have always been able to narrow it down to one, until now. Amazing. I even received 15 seeds in one pack, which is also a first.

It's clear to me that Alien raised the bar all the way up to where it should be. No more unproven males/females and using hermi genetics if you want to compete with Alien. He provided full disclosure regarding his genetics and provided more than sufficient pictures and grow tips. He released genetics on both sides that are truly ELITE and usually only accessible to a select few. Alien Technology is a true glimpse into the small elite breeding circles in California that we only read about. On top of all this....he's also just plain good people. What more can you ask for?

Imvho is should be alien kush talked about because thats where all these crosses came from, where the obs alien tech x lvpk.... So i think marketing anything for the lineage should also be noted that its pretty far down the line... The straight alien tech..... Thats like callin sour d "dnl"... Ya know???

Its noted that a lot of alien kush crosses hermie.A lot so to say he raised the bar by using a proven male how come hermies are popping up?

I got nothing against alien I'm running some starfighters and lemon alien dawg now but to say a lot of what you said seems more than sharing your exp.

Yeah i didnt want to turn the knife on the whole hermi thing, you are honestly the only one that has said that about alien crosses (the strain not the man). Which i personally know from the redeye stuff and the first CC releases that that shit definitely herms at times. Sayin there is zero herm traits is straight up not true. If yours did you are the 1/30 that didnt encounter anything.

But again by all means, this is your marketed forum, and i have no intentions of bashing or degrading in any way.

I plan to place bids on some packs for sure, although i cap out at a couple hundred... Where there are people wayyy above my commitment level. Haha. but i assure you its not cause of the tech background, but because ive seen your logs and work and know you do it right.

Just to share my experience, I have ran the starfighter, lemon aliendawg,astrodawg, alien grenades, and fruity pebble og. Full rooms of each, and haven't seen any anthers.(see squig and baba people do listen)
I'm not saying other people haven't had any issues but IME alien genetics (not sure about alien tech) are stable and ridiculously chronic.

there are always going to be phenos that herm to some extent. herm'ing is the plants "survival mechanism". Lots of environmental stress and the grower go into whether a pheno will herm. Of course there are some phenos that will herm and need to be culled. I haven't noticed much herm issues myself especially with my more dialed in runs. good luck on everything Birddog!

And one more thing cuz this shit really pisses me off. Dudes are workin hard putting out sick gear and talk like this spreads like wildfire. Some dipshit that has a shit room and can't grow to save his live stresses a plant and now the gear has hermi traits? Like Dirk pointed out ALL plants will hermi if stressed enough.

Just growing starfighters and lemon alien dawgs that's all. Your honest review was noted in your thread already to go on and make another thread about it seems more than your review like I said. But hey that's my opinion and that's what these forums are for issnt it?
You may not have pulled nanners but there's more than 1 horror story of something with alien in it herming a bit.

I have had bananas pop on more then a few of my aliens, then again all the sour d cuts I've seen pop them. You can only cross a cross back into a cross before they become unstable.. I know lots of people looking for old school land race strains or this very reason. Couple Bananas don't bother me though as I said I grow sour D. I end up with a couple seeds here and there nothing I complain about.

Alien seems to have the highest amount of likes views sales and whatever else correct me if I'm wrong but don't the numbers say it all consistent pics and threads of back to back fire.....i want some alien gear but i have yet to pay for seeds and i have plenty of beans to pop....

Well it's simple marketing really an he does have good genetics. Lots of good breeders here with less cool names and lack of a cool picture. It's like advance nutes wet Betty. That bottle grabs attention from across the room.. Same goes for aliens name and the picture..

I popped 4 of the ARC...got 2 males and 2 females. One of the females is SourDub dom and the other seems to be Tahoe dom. They are both loud stout and vigorous here in the 4th week with no signs of herm. I'm going to do some pollination with these. Totally stoked..cause I have at least a dozen ARC's left to go through..a very generous seed pack from Alien!
