Glad to see where you stand, We are violating A Terrorists human rights and Fuck the families and children that were blown up or died by his hand. The reason it is not "Inadequate" to you is because it is not your child / wife / family so the effect on you is minimal. I on the other hand believe his human rights were forfeited at the instant he committed an act of terrorism and the blatant Murder of American civilians and have no issue with sticking A 40cal. in his eye socket and pulling the trigger personally and wouldn't loose A moment of sleep over it. No different than putting down A Rabid Dog from where I stand. Did he do it, yep, got him on video, caught him red handed, trial over, Death. Should take less than ten days and A worthless piece of Dung is removed from the face of this planet. Next guy that thinks about being "A Radical Islamist" will think twice if they knew America doesn't Fuck Around when it comes to terrorists. Obama doesn't think twice about Blowing Up Terrorists with Drones and Killing innocent civilians in the process, It is A major part of his agenda, and according to your words "That is a big, ugly, ongoing, painfully obvious violation of all the human rights we supposedly stand for" So.... What is the difference here ttystikk?

definition of a Terrorist depends on where you live in the world. If i use your definition then almost every US ARmed Forces member is a terrorist. We f'ing cry about 4 innocent people killed by a couple of kids but forget the 100,000's of innocent lives lost in the middle east due to Murder by US Armed Forces. Don't get all high and mighty with the swift justice SoCal. Live by the Sword, Die by the Sword.

The difference is justice vs. retribution. Either you grasp that, or you don't. Either way, the above diatribe contains not one shed of real justification for short circuiting the justice system. And what if we did as you suggest, and make an exception for this worthless punk? What's to stop more and more 'exceptions'? Now, THERE'S your slippery slope, fella!

Do you seriously think they will screw it up? Are you actually trying to imply that military justice is in any way better, more fair or in any way more of a deterrent? I'm having a hard time with either one of those ideas.

Absolutely... I do not or have not defined U.S. Armed Forces as "Terrorists" the law of the land is absurdly simple... search it your self, Lawful / Unlawful Combatant, International law reads as follows...

"According to the international law of war, 'lawful combatants' are soldiers in uniform fighting for their respective militaries, while 'unlawful combatants' are people not in uniform who sneak into the opposing territory to wreak havoc."

The above law is what defines A Chechnyan immigrant that commits A terrorist act (bombing of civilians) A Terrorist... I don't write the laws, I just have valid issues with those that don't follow the ridiculously simple definition of them.

The people that Obama targets for Drone Strikes on his own behalf without the approval of congress seldom if ever meet the above definition of International Law of War, you are helping to make the point of my statement.

When we declare war, people that are soldiers of this war will die, this is obvious. If A group of "Extremists" is declaring war on our civilian population than it defies International Law and should be handled accordingly (Unlawful Combatants if tied to A Chechnyan Extremeist Group in this example) same should go for the President of A country that defies International Law... Pretty simple really.

Do A little Google search on Libyan Drone Strikes and War Crimes Against Humanity and you'll get where I'm coming from dirk d ...

The law of our land is innocent until proven gulity. There are a million good reasons for this, but regardless that is the law.

I am also of the opinion that capital punishment for this fucker is a little too lax. Seriously, I would rather die than to be 19 and live the rest of my life in the American prison system. To me death is the easy way out, suffering is much more severe while ironically allowing the population to somewhat correct a mistake if one is made in the misidentification.

I guess people are not aware of International Law vs. Civilian Law...

Lack of knowledge is not an excuse when you break the law, International or civilian, it is your responsibility to "Know the Law" or our government would be sending you pamphlets explaining new "Law" to people on A daily basis...

I know people think it's really "Cool" how Obama circumvents or re-writes law after law but if he goes down under the U.N. and A number of countries for War Crimes Against Humanity don't you think that would be an Enormous shit stain on the U.S. not to mention completely destroying any legacy he was hoping to achieve? (Stalin, Hitler, Mao, Obama?)

Something else just dawned on me... I wonder if blowing people up with drones could create pissed off Islamic Jehad Terrorists that don't have drones but know how easy it is to get into the U.S. with our lousy Immigration policies and how to build I.E.D's and blow up civilian targets as "Retribution"

Yeah, your right. I guess it would make way more sense to blame some Texas dude that has been gone for years and retired from politics all together for the way Obama runs the country almost 5yrs. later... I can change ttystikk :)

  • More than four years after he left office, former President George W. Bush's approval rating now equal President Obama's, according to a new Washington Post/ ABC poll.
Forty-seven percent of Americans say they now approve of the former president, while 53 percent disapprove, according to the poll, which surveyed 1,000 adults from April 17-21. Mr. Obama's approval rating also stands at 47 percent.

Considering that the repercussions of his policies will be felt in this country for decades to come, I would say that you have finally said something I wholeheartedly agree with.

Mr. Obama's policies will have similar duration- at which point we will see how good those decisions were.

In the months that follow, with this event (Boston) and Obama Care coming down the pike, people are going to see real quick just how much of an amateur Barack Obama is... His numbers will continue to fall, unemployment will remain virtually unchanged, and I'll come back to remind you that I brought this to your attention if this post still exists... Just give Obama policy some time to fester.

Your command of the facts lacks. Mr. Obama has created/saved millions of jobs, along with the larger economy, by averting the financial disaster that nearly recreated the Great Depression. I'm intrigued with quickly you forget/deny/rationalize away what happened right at the end of Dubbya's term...

To return to the original subject of the thread for a moment; between the financial disaster, the housing crisis, the unbridled looting of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, AIG, the cynical dismantling of the SEC that kicked off the massive corruption that became the financial crisis, ENRON, 100+ days of fucking vacation in his first year in office?! A month of which came AFTER 9/11?!

Seriously, the worst President in my lifetime, without question. The man makes Nixon look like a paragon of efficiency and ethical virtue by comparison!

To be clear, before someone tries to stuff yet another assumption down my throat- back, SoCal!- I'm not laying all the blame for the ills of his watch at his feet. However, I think- and I'm in plenty of good company- that his personal handling of all these challenges was uniformly poor, while simultaneously making himself and the United States look bad at every opportunity.

In other words, incompetent.

1000 people are not enough to make an accurate poll. In a country of 300+ million this # is laughable. And i've seen it used many times. I remember one article said something like "The Majority of Americans want to attack Iran" lol ok lol love how the media manipulates #'s and unbelievable how stupid Americans are for believing these polls lol
