Damn! What an awesome thread! Happy belated birthday Ty, I hope this year treats you better than last and that wisdom will be your guide in the journey of life. I would like to take this opportunity to tell you that I appreciate your presence on the farm, you positively contribute on this site and because of people like yourself I find myself spending way too much time on this website! HAHA. Thanks! Have a good one brother.

I'm approaching the big five-oh, and my birthdays are just another day on the calendar.

Thank you! Thanks to your influence,I have a batch of alfalfa impregnated tea bubbling away right beside me. I've learned a lot from you, and not just about plants.

Indeed, another day on the calendar. One to be especially thankful for...

Late as usual, but HAPPY BIRTHDAY TTYSTIKK!

And hey, dude, things could always be much worse. You could've had to start waiting tables again...

Happy late birthday homie!!

Gotta say, as I get older each year I find i pay less and less attention to holidays in general as well as birthdays. I find it interesting to see the degree of excitement/parties/whatever all of my friends do though in relation to their birthdays. The last 2 years my birthday has fallen on big concerts that everyone i knew was in town for, so pretty much ended up with defacto birthday parties (not a bad thing in my crowd lol) but never things i wanna put any energy into putting together. Often i prefer to get really high and enjoy my own company on that day while i don't have to drive myself anywhere. lol.

I need that introspective- or, perhaps retrospective- time to think and see a pattern in my life that I want more of. Celebration is grand fun and a necessary outlet, but I cherish my time, too.

So in case you all wondered what I actually did for my birthday, here's the letdown- err, rundown;

Got a limo to drive me all over town
Ate at my favorite restaurant- Chili House rocks!
Saw 'Oblivion' with Tom Cruise and Morgan Freeman- give it three stars out of five
Hit Old Town for a drink or two
Finished the evening with a nice soak in my hot tub, smokin' my own...

Alone. And it's not like I didn't put myself out there to find a date, either- POF, OKCupid, and several more all sport my profile, and I sent out dozens of emails. Not cheesy one-liners, either, but real letters written to people I would like to meet. I got a response rate like I was slinging junk mail.

Ladies, you missed one Hell of an evening, that's all I got to left to say on the matter!
