Happy birthday man! Glad we have ya on the farm! Take a hit for each year! That's how I celebrated this year!

Birthdays (for other people) allow me a chance to tell people what they mean to me. So TODAY I want to tell you specifically that you've been an amazing friend to me and that it means so much what you've done for me the past few months by giving me an outlet when I didn't really have one.

For someone who's eyes I've never looked into and who is more than 20 years my senior, that's pretty god damned awesome. I'm wishing you the happiest of all possible birthdays today.

Hey squiggly! Thank you for the heartfelt note- right up there with living my dream, having good friends to share my life's triumphs and trevails with is at the top of my life's goals list. You're a good friend already, and may our continued friendship give us many happy days in the future!

Happy B-Day ty. Hope you made it one you will remember. Birthdays ain't no big deal to me. I pretty much take them as they come. The only one that really bothered me looking back was 30. That was when I realized I was no longer considered young. Now I am more than double that. Don't mind being old just ache a lot more. I will tag along on the hill if the timing works out. :D

Happy B Day Stikk :)

Happy birthday brother.... for me it is about enjoying who I have in my life, thinking about past failures, learning from past failures, and working on making a better life for my family before I leave this place.

Anyways brother.... Cheers!

They give me a good opportunity to do a little big picture thinking, help me decide if what I'm doing is what I really want.

Well, I am. I'm here, right? Thanks for the good wishes, and for the odd glimpse of the road ahead, brother. I'm down for a hike, as long as my main hiking criteria is met; there better be some good fishin' when we get there!

That covers the bases. You make it sound so easy! Thanks for the kind words, brother.

Happy Birthday ttystikk!

Best of luck bagging a fourteener this season.
It doesn't get much better than puffing at 14,000 feet while oxygen deprived;)

Wetterhorn and Maroon Peak are two of my favorites
You won't need gear ,but you will have a bit of exposure to deal with in a place or two:eek:

Thanks for the heads up- by exposure, do you mean those crazy ass spots where dropping your hat means a 3000' climb down to get it?

I'm gettin' the willies already!

Actually, the high altitude effect on getting high is a little like getting high after SCUBA diving; in both cases, you're rising and thus going from higher pressure to lower pressure. The difference is that with scuba diving the pressure changes are much greater, as much as 3 full atmospheres. I do remember I got wicked blitzed when I smoked a joint right after coming up from a dive!

It is not brother.... and at many times I have wanted to end it all. But for me... it is my God.... and my support system that gets me through my days.

You are most welcome... and hope you had a great day.

Like most of my days, it's had its ups and downs. One big up is checking in here to see all the nice things people are saying about me- y'all are making me blush! Thanks!

Thanks once again for all the kind words! This is my community, so it means even more coming from you all, my friends here.

I get depressed sometimes, and I wonder if anything I do makes a difference, if I matter to anyone. You all have done one heck of a job at shooting that little voice down!
