105 here today, has cooled down a little to 98, love it, inside swamp cooled house.
Up early to get shit done then back out round 4pm till 7 or so...

Damn!!! That's hot. We may have hit the upper 60s and a bunch of rain.

What happens when you live 'in the zone'.
Thank God it isn't that hot here, hot, but not that hot.
Probably broke 90, or got close.

It was forecast to hit 96 here, out east it may have come close but it only got to 85 here.

Still, gave the cooling system a good workout- Soo far, so chillin'!

All ready had several days of 100 + here, 110 the other day. Today its only in the 80's !!

Mid 80's here today...clouds built very fast....about 2PM we had a clap of thunder and a >big< burst of wind...then about 2 mins of rain. Been nice to finally be able to sleep with the window open (with only a couple of blankets..LOL) and the waterfall crankin'... "Summer".

113 sunday in our backyard, and check the girls out, they are begging for more!! the pic was taken at 103 then the next night at 10pm it rained for 15 minutes

My poor tomato and bell peppers fried in the garden from heat... I think I'll have some survivors but I'm not excited about their chances.

39F this AM here. Could be close to a 50 degree temperature swing today here if it stays sunny....which is predicted.

Still ain't buying no fuckin' A/C though ;)
i always wonder this..... why can outdoor plants withstand 100+ degrees for a good amount of days, but indoors needs to be controlled? i was always curious when theyre budding outdoors and its 105, doesnt THC degrade around 100?

Pff. You're just experiencing Cali's used up heat is all. Not used to that kinda heat, eh? I grew up working off my horse training by living at the trainer's, getting up at 3am, out by 4am to get the horses fed & worked, stalls and barn cleaned up, otherwise you'd be out there at 10am dying from the heat (and it was rough on the horses, too). Gotta do it that way, the Spanish way, or you will pay. Or I should say I will pay, really prone to getting bad headaches when it's hot like that.

I have extra peppers and tomatoes, hot and mild, grapes to beefsteaks. Going to Casper until Friday but if anyone needs a plant or two let me know and I'll keep them out of the compost pile.

Gray's Reef here I come!

I'll take anybody you don't have a home for. I'm on the way to Casper... PM me. MODS: no, seriously- we really ARE talking about tomatoes! LOL

I'd think you'd notice it in the buds if it were say 105 in late Aug or Sept when they are in full swing...Also the media not heating up as much, or swinging in temp, may have a little to do with it???

@Sky: It's hard to justify the AC, except for those rare few days when a mister or swamper isn't doing it.

20cent seed packs from Walmart. Perhaps a little late on the tomato, but with the right cloche or greenhouse, who knows???
