1 cup of neem cake bubbled in a 5 gallon bucket for 48 hours will kill just about any critter in the root zone. Cheap as hell too. Do it once a week, or for a quicker solution do it 3 times 3 days apart they will be gone. Then maintain with once per week.

Bacillus Thuringiensis Israelensis (BTI) is basically what it is I assume I know it works on cabbage lopers so it should on this ty for the heads up man

Gognats is where it's at if its just gnats. Rosemary and cedar wood oil they flip the fuck out and hate it. Keeps em out too.

My regimen is an undiluted tea (caps pot foliar and another companies bennies too) then a go gnats drench. Two that three times and it'll kill everything, even hypoapsis and springtails, which are good but hey, fuggit

I just dosed a tank with a couple drops of microbe-lift, same stuff as BoOm, so we'll see what happens. Do I really need to add 1mL+ per gallon? This stuff is pretty concentrated. I thought just a couple of drops (bout 1 mL) per 20 gallons. I guess this is war, so there's gotta be some casualties.

I've used gognats before, and it does the job, but in hydro it just makes a big white mess, although the cinnamon and cedar do smell nice. I don't really perceive much smell from the microbe-lift, and it mixes in nice and clean. I've heard to prevent them from even coming into your room, put a small peppermint plant in your grow room as they hate the smell of it, probably why the soil drenches with that in it works so well.. I"m having problems with them little suckers right now, killed most of them with recent soil soak of concentrated soap by Bio-tone.. most are gone.. usually my biggest problem so thanks for all the great advice..

Gnatrol, Sea-90, cinnamon, and/or diatomaceous earth have all proven to be effective against their demon spawn larvae imho.
For the adults a contact killer is needed because they don't eat. Sticky traps, d.e. and/or Gnatnix does the trick for me!

I have a method.
The Gnats Gno More Technique.
I top my soil with weedblock landscape fabric, then gnatgnix mixed with diamatacious earth.
I place plastic 3,5,or 7g pots into 3g or 5g fabric smart pots. Sealing the bottom holes. I use wig caps from beauty store to wrap bottoms of 1g plastic bag pots. I wrap clone solo cups in wig caps. Gnats cannot reach my soil. All supplies except the weedblock fabric gets reused several times over.

I just got over a gnat problem. Ended up using gnatrol and put up a couple sticky traps. One watering with a full dose of gnatrol seemed to have knocked them out. I only see 1 or 2 here and there which is fine by me since its almost harvest time.

EM1 and done :cool:, have yet to see a Gnat after I started using EM1 for watering my soil :) (I make my own EM1 serum too, costs ~$4 to make a gallon :p)
