I've recently upgraded to 100 liter / 27 gallon tubs for each plant, with only four per zone instead of 12 five gallon buckets. I'm hoping for some monsters!

Put that plant in my 27 gallon tub... and then start saving up for a chainsaw for chop!
lol :) I think she's more than big enough ;) But don't get me wrong!! the thought does sound sound enticing.

Gnine Day 8 Flower Phase. She looks tight, and very developed for only 8 days i must admit, The light intensity has been fixed, she sits a good 4 inches lower now, and her main flowers are all at optimum level, so now i just gotta play the game and keep things clean :)

Good luck and always like growers who put their soul in it . Kudos
:) Much appreciated Haze! Thankyou kindly. hope all is well, i'm taking extra care with this plant she is really massive and should reward well if i maintain her. Such a big hard plant to get to in some places, i'm literally twisting my body in ways that would make you cringe just to remove shade leaves!

Wow brother your doing a great job training that plant and keeping her healthy as can be. I plan to strictly grow in scrog only. I currently have 4 Afghani in 3 gal pots in a scrog. I'm running into some issues with lower light getting in because of so many damn leaves. Do you trim any lower leaves at all?

Thankyou :) Yes i have issues with lower light especially with this girl, i usually do 2-3 trims around this time, all in all i've taken in excess of a packed pillow case of fresh leaves!! and still going in now and then to pull some more. I find the trick is to pinch a few higher up shade leaves the ones copping the most hardcore light imagine what they will do underneath :) Some people think removing leaves stunts that particular branch... I myself have found this to be quite the opposite! Removing leaves is essential in my opinion especially for such a massive canopy so crowded. I even removed what i call those spindy 'chaser' branches, that are only getting in the way, and will never reach a nice level. My light penetration has been alot better with 2 x 600 watt HPS but i'm looking into a new single 1000 and a new fancy cooling hood. If not i'll get another 2 new 600 cooling shades it may suit me better for my restrictive head room. This plant to give you an idea, the canopy is above my eye level and i'm 5,9 :o So a good way to vent heat away from my canopy is a good idea. Glass i know DOES lower the light output But I can't see a better option as of today, but whos complaining, i'm getting exactly what i want, I would just like it a little neater, and less 'up top'. Less power point connections would be pretty sweet too hehe..... dreaming though

HI nMeeks!! I'm doing as well as can be lately, always thinking positive ;) likewise i hope you're stocked up doing well!

My best moon shot to date :) it was using digital zoom, and on the tripod i had there was still some minor shake even after a 10 second countdown with timer!!! I love my camera, i really do, i've taken over 20,000 shots since i've had it (less than 2 years.) Samsung certainly know what they're doing!
Thanx for the awesome positive feedback! + compliments! Glad the pics look good on your screen

Nvm on that question. All I had to do was look at the picture lol. Looks good
ha lol no worries!... I hack all my plants, some would cringe. My first taught grow i watched in horror as my teacher snipped pulled, snapped, trimmed and fimmed, cloned and everything else, i was almost in tears! BUT i see it all as VERY interesting and essential for top quality meds. Now after removing alot of the leaves underneathe, i do in fact leave SOME little buds, as they will still be fed from the plant and they will in turn receive more light than they were going to anyway, I've tried both ways, an choose to leave them on now, well 90% of them. I will even remove an entire tip if i feel its just in the way or when it gets heavy (which they inevitably do) and ends up falling or covering other nugz. You gotta do what you gotta do :p A BREATHING plant is a HAPPY plant ;) It increase leaf vigor and also even lowers humidity dramatically.
