Hey man, with BCBDs stuff theres no such thing as a good plant anymore, and to be honest even when there was they were few and far between. Theres no grower in the world that could bring anymore out of those than you did man, its just not in there to be brought out. Toss em and get more real genetics in there you can enjoy, you grow a damn fine plant bro, no sense in wasting your talents on them. I would assume your little gift should be there any day now so you'll have some more options. Even when i used to post over there i didnt grow their genetics except for the god bud i kept for a while, which was nice, but only the one pheno, the rest was trash. Have to say that one pheno was amazing though, but hasn't earned back my respect for em yet, lol.
I hope i can get my mildew issues fixed up and get some proper environment going again, if so I'll be back on the post. Theres a few things in the seed section here i was looking at id love to get my hands on actually, but fallen behind on the seed scene so don't know most of the newer breeders out there, but some nice looking stuff around for sure. Now if only i had like 2000 I could blow, lol.

Got that shit right BB. BCBD sells nothing but crap. Only thing I ever had from BCBD that was worth a fuck was given as cuts from a friend that had to pop a 50 pack to find a keeper. Its a damn shame when ya gotta sift and grow out a whole damn 50pack of seeds to find one keeper. But hey shits been the same there for years. Shit genetics and shit service. What makes it worse is hes had plenty of time to change his ways and get his biz practices and his breeding under control....aint gonna happen though. Matts ego is just too damn big.

I know you'll get those PM issues under control bro. I've always had great respect for you and your skills. You and a few others were the standard I looked up to when I first moved from outdoors to indoor yrs ago. Never really got a chance to thank you for all the info (and many drool worthy pics) you shared over at the other place. Really helped me a lot back then bro! Thanks!

Knock that chit down Max...lol...I say it's done...it'll do very little if any more is my guess...the new light seems to be working for ya...be good to see some nicer genetics under its beam...I got a few babies cutting their teeth...soon to take a cut or 2 for a run...just so you know,I've tried to grow several of the BCBD line-up, and they can be tough and finicky...poor germ rates...curly leaves are common and impossible to cure in a few of their strains from my experience...the Black is a lost cause for me...never could get her to do notta...curled leaves and bitch about everything you do....and don't..throw new pistils when flushing...pure dog of a strain...whats posted has happened to me on several of their genetics...good luck will come your way...hang in there...What up BB!!!!...damn what a treat to see you still around and showing some love/hate/....lol...I always liked your straight up post...call it like you see um bro...few of your kind left...no bullchit...(with exception to MGG) lol...your grows were always leading me to better ways...still don't have those "smoke 3 joints at a setting" steel lungs like you though...hehe..always a pleasure to watch your skills BB....you've taught me tons over the years....and hello to all the fellows from the other place....zoner...mogrow...mgg...max...dp...I'm sure I missed a few...nice journal Maxx...I'll be peeking in...B

Thanks man, always nice to hear such kind words. The pics wouldn't look very good on the past couple runs thats for sure, but like I say, ya gotta do the work if you want that to happen. I'm really getting fed up with the mildew, its been a constant battle with it for ages. What I really need is all new equipment, and unless I win the lottery or some shit thats not gonna happen for quite some time. But Ill get it figured out at some point im sure. Gonna sterilize the entire basement here in the next couple days, then I've got some ssh x appalacia and nigerian to go in for the next run, and have to have a couple good ones before the gov fucks us up the ass. And always happy to help when i can bro, if theres ever anything i can do just say the word.

I think a lot of peeps scattered from over there when Raven got popped. He had a lot of folks info from trading etc and personally speakin that was enough to make me go into hiding and change my name when I did come back. I don't even know who raven is, must of been there after I left, I've been gone from that site for quite a while now. I know how ya feel though, i was testing for elite when he got nailed, and of course that dude ended up being the king of the heatbags, so I chilled out a bit myself after that.

Luckily, I hadn't done any trading with him (although we talked about it a bit) and he didn't have my contact info, but it was scary shit to say the least! I never did hear what happened to him in the end. I did hear he got some serious time though. Apparently, he was into other shit besides just herb. It never comes to a good end when you fuck with that stuff!

Big B., I hope you can get your PM issues under control bro. You're too damn fine a grower to be put off by anything!!! I remember when you were battling the thrips, and it seemed like you'd never get them under control, but you did! It'll happen. I wish I was close by, I'd be happy to come by and help sterilize and do some of your grunt work that you have trouble doing cause of your health. I gotta say though...as good as you've always been to everybody (online and in real life) I'm just amazed that you don't have people knocking down your door to come help you! You've always given the shirt off your back to anybody who needed it! IMO, it's time Mr. Karma paid you a little visit and repaid some of your good deeds.

Well...for better or worse, the Animal Cookies (or whatever the hell it really is) is cut and drying. I'll have a smoke report on them shortly. I'm hoping a little time in the jars will help them in the flavor dept. I took a tester nug or two along the way, and it was pretty stoney, so hopefully it hasn't been a complete waste of time love and nutes on them.

Now that I think about it I do remember that Raven guy, never got to know him though, which seems like it wasnt a big loss to be honest. Oh ya, mgg and I know each other, but he had a different name then is all, can't remember what it was, but ya we know each other for sure.
I'm hoping the karmas gonna come back in the form of like a lottery win or some shit like that, lol, very little chance im sure, but still a fella can dream. As for the PM, like i say, its mainly the environment up here and the fact that i need some new equipment and all that shit. Once I get things cleaned up and a couple things added in I should be ok, the new seeds planted are upstairs and healthy at the moment, some ssh x appalaichia and nigerian.
I'm sure you'll still have some decent smoke out of those, and worst case scenario use that stuff for edibles or something like that.

Sorry to see how the ac turned out. They look just like the sweet tooth I grew. It's pretty disappointing when you buy something that's supposed to be an early finishing indica that will finish in time for your season and you end up getting low quality sativa. I cut it down at 10.5 weeks and it wasn't done yet.

Hi All,

Time for an overdue update! This is my busy time of year at work, so it's hard to find time to keep up with everything right now. I've been a little lax on my posting...but there really hasn't been anything exciting to watch anyway.

As you may remember, the plants I started for round two all turned out to be male (MAJOR FUCKING SETBACK!) except one Orange X Pineapple. This pheno of the OxP is much "lankier" than the other pheno I had that smelled so much like Pineapple. This one has a very strong skunk smell at this point. I had taken clones of it, so they are rooted out now. Right now I've got vegging to flip soon:

(3) Orange X Pineapple (1 seed mom, 2 clones)
(1) Grape Romulan
(1) Skywalker Kush

ROC's other gear arrived (Thank you SO MUCH ROC)! so I started (4) bluhzbx2blu X Rom as well. They're still in the seedling stage so we'll give them a nice long veg and get some good structure to them and then add them to the flower tent.

We've been vegging under the Bad Boy T-5. I just moved these under the Inda-Gro today and will be vegging them under it from here on. Until we flip...I'm not running the pontoon. This will be my first full run under the Inda-Gro, so I'm anxious to see how well it does start to finish. Everybody online is trying to compare the Inda-Gro (& other 400 watt Induction lights) to a 1000 HPS. Well, I've had mine long enough to say that I don't think there's any way in hell they compare to a 1000 HPS! Granted, I still do not have an entire start-to-finish flower cycle under it yet, but I've run the light long enough to have formed that opinion. For me tho...I don't need it too. If I can equal the yield/performance of a 600 HPS in my little 3' x 4-1/2' tent...I'll be happy as a clam!

These are going to have to veg longer before I flip them, but how long will be up to the plants. Here's a peek at the status quo...

This is the Grape Rom. I topped her recently, and she's beginning to bush out nicely...

Here's the Orange X Pineapple...the seed mom, and the next two are clones I took off her. If anybody can offer any info on this pheno, it would be most appreciated!

And here are the bluhzbx2blu X Romulan babies. (I'm SO freaking excited at finally having a really good blue strain to run)! Thanks SO MUCH ROC!

All the OxP's and the Skywalker were just up-potted about 3 hours before the pics. I watered them in with a compost tea I brewed up, and even though they were just up-potted, they're starting to pray already! DAMN...I LOVE these teas!!!

Big Buddy has been trying to get me into brewing the teas for a while now. Recently, I bought some compost tea at my local grow store that they brew on-site for their customers. It was too expensive and too inconvenient for regular use, but the plants responded so dramatically, I was hooked right then! I purchased the Xtreme Tea Brewing kit...

For around $50, I got everything I needed to brew my own teas. All the pumps and everything are really good quality. I want to get into brewing my own recipes instead of using the Xtreme mix. It seems to be a really good tea, but is too expensive for me to think about on a regular basis. I'm confident I can come up with a better recipe anyway! It'll sure be fun trying! If you've got time to mess with it, you could probably come up with a brewing system for less, (all you HAVE to have is a bucket, pump, & airstone) but with my schedule...$50 was a bargain for the convenience. All I had to do was add water!

I'll post up a quick pic later today or tonight so you can see the full effect of the compost tea. By then, they'll REALLY be praying and happy! Thanks for dropping in. I'm sorry for not updating sooner, but as I say...just really busy right now. I also need to get my smoke reports up on the last grow too. Hopefully today maybe.

Well...time for a little update I guess. There's still not allot to report. I don't get to excited until we're making pistils! A spot of bad news...the beautiful Grape Romulan I had just flipped turned out to be male! :rage: Out of 4 seeds planted, I've gotten 3 males and 1 no-show! I've still got a few beans left tho, so I'll get one more good run at the GR. Hopefully, the next time we'll get all female keepers! Very possible with the ROC gear!

The good news is that the bluhzbx2blu X Romulan is looking great! Four are vegging now, so I'm praying for at the very least...one good female! Here's a shot of them...

And in the big top we've got the Orange x Pineapple & Skywalker Kush just beginning to form buds. They were flipped 9 days ago. Right now the stretch is on!

I don't know how well you can see it, but the Skywalker Kush got burned by the FFOF soil. I up-potted about 5 days before flipping, and would've thought they were big enough to handle it. I know it's the FFOF tho, because I haven't fed her squat yet! Well...that's not entirely true...

I've been brewing and giving them AACT (actively aerated compost teas), and they just love it! Very happy and healthy plants (other than the burn). And yes...before anybody asks...I'm 100% positive the teas have nothing to do with the burn. They love the spectrum of the Induction light too I think. The combination has them praying hard all the time! One cool thing I've noticed about the teas is that they cause the plants to use nutes much more efficiently. And (as I'm learning) the fungal microbes actually unlock nutes in the soil that would otherwise stay unavailable. It's like getting free organic fertilizer! Haha! :joyful: For example, I've only fed the largest OxP a total of 1 tsp of Grow Big since she's been in the world, and she's still showing no signs of being def. My previous grows that used only FF nutes and no teas would've been feeding them since veg. I've handled it this round with up-potting and teas, and I think my gals are much happier for it! I'm loving the teas!

Just for shits and giggles, here's a shot of the partial yield of the Animal Cookies. I'm planning to do a smoke report on all the strains from the last chop, but haven't gotten it all done yet. Still need to take some notes and grab some pics. I'll try to have it up soon. Fortunately...whatever this AC ACTUALLY is...it's pretty stoney, so that's a blessing anyway. I've got a buttload of it to smoke!

Well DP...the big boy pants have a fresh "load" as of today! I JUST found balls on the ROC Orange x Pineapple clones! :mad:

There were 4 male flowers each on the two clones. And the ball sacks were in exactly the same place...and the same number...on both plants! It's like they were the same plant...oh, wait...they ARE! :joyful: Th plant the clones came from, is not showing any hermie flowers at all thusfar! I was very puzzled by this until I remembered that my Air conditioning unit went out a few weeks back while they were in early veg! I "THINK" the mother plant "MAY" have been in the other tent! If so, that would explain why there aren't any on Mom! I haven't decided what I'm going to do yet. (Suicide isn't off the table). I'll probably ditch the clones and keep the mom unless she throws them two. :yuck:

OG..hey bro! Good to see ya! I don't think their GSC bx is as problematic as the ACs...but I REALLY couldn't recommend you try them! I've got 7 BCBD beans in my gear stash. They are going in the planter outside the police department. That was it for me with them. Thanks for stopping in!
